I leased a vehicle with the dealer back in February. The vehicle in the beginning had a few lights come on that I had checked by a mechanic on 3-4 occasions. So then the car wouldnt start this morning dated 5/18 after I stopped to get gas. I contacted a local mechanic to have test ran on it and the findings were that the vehicle had jumped time and will need a motor. I contacted the dealer and explained to him the situation with the vehicle and also offered the information from the mechanic so that dealer could call him to confirm the information he had just given me about my vehicle and to see if we could resolve this issue in a decent manner. I was told by the dealer that couldnt put me in another vehicle due to what would be his loss. And started bringing up another car I had got from him 5 years ago and I explained to him I had the same issues with that car, the same day I got the 1st car from him I had to put it in the shop the same day and paid ******* on 2/3 occasions to get it fixed and it still didnt run correctly. As I explained to him he should want to be a better business man and should be held accountable for selling people lemons cars that run for a few weeks/month or so then you have critical issues.. This man is a poor excuse of a car dealer and doesnt care that hes beating people out of money. As I explain to him Ive invested money to and all I asked him to do was put my in another vehicle so that I could get to work and again he didnt try to help me at all.. Will you make others aware not to purchase anything from him.

On 2-23-23 ************* came into the dealership to purchase a vehicle. The vehicle that caught her attention was a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This vehicle had not been serviced due to the amount of time it had been on the lot. I advised her to have whom ever she wanted to check the vehicle out. She had a member of her family to come by and drive it. She also carried the vehicle to someone to have it looked over. She purchased the vehicle on 2-23-23. She made payments bi-weekly. She came by to make a payment on 5-13-23, at that time I noticed the vehicle was leaking out antifreeze. I told her she needed to get that issue checked out. She replied that she didn't have money at that point. On 5-18-23, she called and said the vehicle was at a shop in ********. She told me that the vehicle had jumped time. She wanted another vehicle because she said she had only had this vehicle for one month. In reality she had drove it for three months. She said she had someone tell her these were issues the car probably had when she purchased it. I reminded her that i told her on 5-13-23 that she needed to get it checked out. At that point I offered to get a price on fixing it and I would pay half the bill if she would pay the other half. I would add the other half to her account and she could pay that out in payments. She wanted to trade vehicles instead but had no money down. I told her she could not trade due to not maintaining this vehicle and prior history. She said she would clean the vehicle out and I had done her wrong. The next thing I know I am receiving a letter from the BBB. I had to pay $305 to ************************ in order to get the vehicle back. I called ********************** and they told me the reason the vehicle had broke down was due to the fact she had let it run hot. In the process of it running hot, it had blown a head gasket. They said it could have jumped time due to the blown head gasket but did not say that it actually happened. I would have responded sooner on this but I got the letter on Saturday the 27th. I was closed for Memorial Day on the 29th. Please let me know if you need anymore information regarding this matter.

                                                                                                                      Thanks, **** Elledge
