3/27/2021: Called American Home Shield (AHS) regarding a water leak. 3/30: AHS sent Scott's All-Pro Plumbing. He did not find a water leak, so asked us to run everything in the home & to call him back if it started again. 4/4 at 12:19 PM: Texted Scott's that the leak returned (voice mail is full). NO REPLY. 4/6: My husband, ******* *******, talked to Mrs. ***** & told him that he had to request a new service order. ******* contacted AHS & they created a new ticket. I didn't feel this was correct, so I contacted AHS. They said that it should have been done as a recall. 4/8 or 4/9: Mr. ***** came to our residence. He did a temporary repair by stopping the leak from running through the wall & going to the first floor. He diverted that water into *******' shower. He needed to get the parts to finish the repair. He did not tell ******* to avoid using the shower. The temporary repair did not last long & water started flowing downstairs again. 4/12 at 5:39: Texted *****'s & asked if they were able to talk to AHS. NO REPLY. 4/20: *****'s was a NO SHOW 4/21 at 5:39: Texted *****'s, "This is ******* ******* at 793 Jewell Rd. Do NOT use Scotts All Pro Plumbing and Heating LLC. I have told American Home Shield that I never will accept a dispatch with their name listed again. Our hot water heater replacement has been a nightmare. Scotts took our service call on Thursday Feb 15, knowing he would be out of town the whole following week. Day of install, on Feb 27th (12 days from original service call) I get a text saying there would be a delay till the next morning. I said no, I have to have it done today because i work and had someone lined up to be home and Ive been 12 DAYS WITH NO HOT WATER. So they came and finally installed that day. . BUT did not install new drip pan under new unit, AND our old water heater STILL SITS today , March 9th 2024 , right next to the new one. Multiple calls to Scotts with her answering twice unanswered texts, multiple calls (voicemail is conveniently left full) and a no show on the scheduled day of pick up for the old hot water heater. Now 6 calls later to American Home Shield they apologize for the inconvenience . Scotts is unresponsive to our calls, but will pick up for AHS , while we were on hold with them. They want those service calls, but not the follow up calls from homeowners asking for a job to be COMPLETED. Paid them ****** EXTRA to cover who knows what , told it was to bring our water heater up to code. No faith now that was actual truth.. Job is not finished, still no drip pan. Still have old water heater sitting by the new one. Its sad, because his first service call for our dryer went well, I guess because there were no issues with it being done correctly. But if you have any issues, they are **** near impossible to actually talk to, or get the follow up service as promised. Truly disappointed, in AHS not demanding that service be finished. And in Scotts for not being a stand up company that will make things right that they left WRONG and unfinished. Never again.

Dear customer. Regarding the dispatch sent to us by your home warranty company was scheduled the next day after receiving the dispatch.  Once diagnosis was submitted to your home warranty company, you were approved for the replacement of the water heater. At that time we had to wait to he notified by the home warranty that the noncovered charges was accepted. It took several days before we received confirmation that you agreed to pay the charges. We were then told by ****************** that he had paid the home warranty company the noncoverd  charges directly which was to be paid to the technician when he returned to the home for the installation. It took several for that situation to be resolved and we were told that he had not paid it to the warranty company and would pay at time of installation. The water heater was ordered by the warranty company and we could not pick it up from supplier until we received the email for pick up order.  Once the water was in our possession then we called the customer to schedule ****** install appointment. During the course of the day of schedule appointment the technician after leaving the appointment before yours the tech felled I'll due to an air borne virus. Called the customer to reschedule for the next day but you stated someone was at the home since you were at work and ****************** was out of town tech still went and installed the water heater. The reason the old water heater was left was due to (1) the water heater was full of sediment and would not drain , (2) the dolly which we use to dispose old water heaters could only handle 150 lbs because the water heater would not drain the weight of it just 350 lbs, the unit was so heavy with the water and sediment it could not be picked up. Installed if not installing the new water heater because of the sediment , the tech kept in mind that the homeowner stated they did not have any hot water and he slid the old unit pan and all to the side which the drip pan was already torn up and not connected to a drain which a drip is not required in a concrete floor in a closet off the garage. You did pay for a pan and was not charged for a pan. It will require a heavy duty dolly with straps to remove old unit which is not a problem to due , additional scheduling is needed. The technician was quite surprised after he was told about the upset phone calls off the removal of the old unit when he went out of his way to make sure that the new unit was installed on that appointment date  Disposal of the old unit was paid by the home warranty company and was not charged to the customer at all.  It is quite surprising to see how far this complaint has gone when we never said we were not coming back to dispose of the old water heater.  Our water heater installation was completed and there has not been any complaints about the water installation but just from an old unit disposal. The drip pan is not required due to the water heater been located in the garage on a concrete floor, ground level. We do apologize for any inconveniences this delayed disposal has caused you. I do not feel this complaint is justified and definitely not representative of our company quality of work. If you read any complaints on our company it's not our quality of work. Our company is like any other company that have high volume work that *** take time to respond due to the high call volume. Nothing is done intentional to cause any problems for our customers.
