Reserved room with washer/dryer and dishwasher. Amenities listed were hot tub, spa, pool, fitness center, and business center and beach chairs and umbrella on on their website. Our room had no washer/dryer or dishwasher. Hot tub, Spa, fitness and business center closed and no beach furniture. Front desk told us to go buy some. On top of that the hotel was under construction which was not disclosed. And had construction going on right above our room. Room had following issues: Broken shower lever, tv's not programed, cabinet broken, and had a window into the hall with lights on full time and no black out curtain. Additionally, our room door would not lock unless you pulled/pushed very hard when closing. Asked if we could get a different room with the amenities reserved and they told us there were no rooms available. It did not list any exceptions or closures. And definitely did not list under construction. If it had we would not have booked with them. We asked to talk or have manager call us, but they did not. Also security doors to the parking garage were left unlocked (for construction workers?), but were told it was a wind tunnel, but even when they were pulled shut they did not lock. Having flown there we tried to make the best of a bad situation. Asked for adjustment and said had to go thorough booking agent. Company would not respond to us or our booking agent. When we disputed part of our charge they responded that we stayed there and didn't care that we did not get what we reserved. They completely misrepresented their property and their response was that you stayed. We're a thousand miles from home and booked this in advance and were suppose to waste our vacation trying to find another hotel at the last minute after getting there. It didn't have bugs I can say that, but it was no where near what we expected.
