The priority of this chain is more focused on their play equipment than the guest children. They do not prioritize the safety of your child over their slide being scratched. We had a great time our previous year and overlooked other minor issues and returned this year because our group and little kids loved the slide. we arrived to find that they have had to update and repaint their slide and due to that inconvenience they changed the safety rules on what children can wear while riding the slide. Our 3 and 5 year old wear USCG Approved life vest and we were asked to either remove our kids vest, replace with little blow up floaters that are not coast guard approved or they have the set on our laps every single time they ride the slide. Children do not want to ride on their parents laps every time. We went and purchased USCG approved floaties (puddle jumpers) to accommodate this new rule only to arrive and be asked to remove our kids life vest for the safety of the slide. This is not ok!!!! This is unacceptable. A little girl whose family was asked to remove their childs life vest had a very scary situation happen. She came down from the slide and because of the current she was swept away from where her dad was standing and stayed under the water for much longer than is okay for a child. She cannot swim & her parents were told to remove her jacket for safety of a plastic slide. There has to be a legal law out there that can keep this company from trying to in-force this very misguided rule.
