In April 2022, we purchased an adjustable bed from Royal Bedding in Pelham. We purchased a very expensive bed and they were able to build it and get it to us quickly. The day of delivery, we were given a sheet of paper that said no refunds or exchanges are offered by this company. We were very concerned that this was not told to us at the time we ordered and purchased the mattress. This would have made us wary of purchasing such an expensive item without any recourse. There is a good chance that we would have left the store and not purchased it at all. We did not plan on any problems with the mattress so we were not very concerned. After delivery, we looked forward to a good night's rest in our new bed. Unfortunately, we have not rested well for months. Our bed is very uncomfortable. We have been back to the store, four times and called several times. We tried numerous things they suggested to make this mattress more comfortable. They finally took the mattresses back to their factory and cut them in half and glued them back together to make it more firm. We had strong doubts about that but were willing to give it a try as there were no other options. Long story short, we are stuck with a very uncomfortable bed. I hope this review will make the next buyer be better informed. I would never have purchased anything that could not be returned if it did not meed your basic expectations. We are disappointed in the lack of quality of this product.Review from TM J

Rarely do I take the time to write consumer reviews, but I felt compelled to pass along the excellent experience we had with the owners, staff, delivery personnel, and, most importantly, the BED we selected at Royal Bedding in Pelham! We were referred to Royal Bedding by several friends in the Birmingham area who had purchased from them before and highly recommended their mattresses. Prior to this experience, we had always bought "name brand" mattresses sold by large department stores or bedding franchises. From the moment we walked in the door of Royal Bedding, we knew this was different. This is a locally-owned family company, and all manufacturing is done on site. Our sales rep, Tabitha, was fantastic! She listened to us, answered all of our questions, and gave us advice on which type of mattress would best suit our sleeping patterns, including a bad back. We especially liked that the mattresses were flippable, thus prolonging their useful life. Royal offers a wide selection of styles, materials, and box spring sizes. Ginger, one of the owners, set up our delivery and followed up by phone to verify a couple of details. Our mattress set was delivered by two experienced employees who knew what they were doing, even taking extra time to make sure our headboard fit perfectly despite some bolt size issues. But the most important part of this review is THE BED (Legacy XFirm)! This is by far the most comfortable mattress ever! Quality materials, not too firm or soft - just right.
