On ****** *** ****, I entered into a signed contract with Dallas H*** and Premier Design Builders. The contract was to complete a complete kitchen remodel and exterior wall rebuild. The total projected cost was $38,000. Dallas was initially attentive and although we reached some snags, worked the project almost to completion. Despite additional costs, and delays, Dallas H*** managed the project until ******* ****. Payments were requested ahead of schedule to help him with payments to employees and ultimately the project was "completed" shortly there after. Dallas told me that he had blown a fuse in a dishwasher, however had ordered the part and would fix the issue. This issue turned out to be a major electrical issue. Dallas failed to respond to follow up emails and after $400 worth of assessments from other companies, Dallas said he would fix the issue. An appointment was made and again Dallas disappeared. I fear that the issue could be severe and is unsafe. As a result I will be seeking another contractor to make the repair if Dallas does not complete the job.Initial Complaint

**** *** 2022 we entered a contract with Dallas H*** of Premier Design Builders Inc. To do reconstruction work to our property * **** *** **** ******** ** *****. We paid Dallas H*** up front roughly about $35,000.00 which included a $1000 deductible. This amount was for the Master bathroom and kitchen. He never started the bathroom and haven't finished the kitchen. He has promised to finish the kitchen and set up numerous appointments with us to complete the work and never showed up. We have missed work loosing money and time to be home when he knew no one would show up. He has done this for the last year. Mr. H*** won't return phone calls, texts or emails. He has breached the contract between us. It has been a year to date, we have waited far too long we have tried to work with him. Dallas and I had a meeting and he said one of his employees would finish the kitchen on **** ** 2023. I called him the day before and the day of and no response and no show. We have emails texts and recordings of him promising to finish our home and refund our money. My husband and Mr. H*** came to an agreement that he will finish the kitchen and refund us the $8000. We want him to finish our kitchen completely and the refund our money of $8000 as promised. We will finish the work with another contractor, with the materials that we have. We have been more than patient giving him the benefit of doubt again all we have gotten are his deceit and lies. We have been without a functioning kitchen and bathroom for a year. Also, I have uploaded one of the conversations by text from Mr. H*** and myself. Mr. ***** does have the other emails as well. If you need anything else we can provide it. Thank you.Initial Complaint

Paid Dallas H**** owner of Premier Design Builders Inc. $4175 (50% down) on **** *** 2022 to shorten kneewall, move electrical, remove, provide and install new kitchen counter. He sent subcontractor to shorten kneewall and another to take measurements for the new counter. The last contact was on *** *** 2022 when Dallas informed us the counter would be installed on *** ** 2023. We were not able to get a hold of him since then. The counter was never installed.Business response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, I am rejecting the 1st offer of $2500 and having the counters installed, I will accept a $3500 cashiers check as my refund instead. The business has stated the consumer prefers a refund that they understand so a date and time to receive the check needs to be determined.
