**** ****** transmission problems haven't finish paying down payment. Took it back explain the problem the salesman nor manager wasn't interested. As-Is with warranty $250 in order for them to look at it. Signed paperwork on 7/**/24 car returned 7/**/24 no down payment. 7/**/24 paid $300 picked up vehicle 7/**/24 problem still exists sale person road with me explaining everything I was dismissed and told that this is an As-Is vehicle there is nothing wrong with it. Manager still has not returned my call. I am very disappointed that they wanted to sell this car without noticing this problem before selling it and the brakes are squeaking badly. The problem Acceleration/Deceleration on its own which the transmission hesitate to go forward, it could be clogged up or the Torque Converter needs to be replaced. Either way I should not be paying anything out of pocket so soon.

I have been a long time customer with Gil’s Auto Sales, but after what happened today I am done dealing with them as a customer. I called and spoke with my account representative Bae and she set up a payment arrangement for Friday June 7, 2024. I have been off work sick and was not able to make one car payment. So today June 5,2024 Gil’s repossessed my car although there was a payment arrangement in place to pay. There has been written communication advising that my car would be repossessed like legit finance companies will do. I do not recommend this company at all. What kind of finance company and car dealership does this to their customers especially when they have been with them for several years. The way they do business is unethical.

They will sell you a car that they pay very little for at auction, sell the same vehicle for over 3 times the value. They take advantage of their customers because they just want to take advantage of someone in need. They will tell you that if you have any issues they are willing to help. That is a load of mess! They say they will also warranty the vehicle but you have to take it to Rapid Tire which is also owned by Gil’s Auto. Then they refuse to help if you are in need. I’m sick of being taken advantage of, I will never buy another vehicle from any of their locations again due to their unwillingness to help. After talking to Rapid Tire owned by Gil’s Auto, they are also a joke of a company! Too bad you can’t leave a negative star review because I would give them a -5 star rating!

If I could leave zero stars I would! So Unprofessional! The "manager" EDDIE P*** is going to ruin the company's reputation! I went on Friday approved truck in the back getting detailed to Saturday I'm not approved all because he wanted to sale the truck to another customer! Arrived Saturday to every employee standing outside waiting on him to arrived (30mins late) to open the store! Not to mention the sales reps dress more professional than the management! I have on video him making drug transactions in the parking lot! So unprofessional! Do your research on this "EDDIE P***" guy before arriving! I would like to know how was I denied at a buy here pay here in Prattville but approved at a ********* dealership in Birmingham don't make sense but hey I won in the end! Newer SUV and no money down! If you're looking for a safe dependable pre-owned vehicle don't go there!! RUN!! Unless you have drugs to sell "EDDIE P***"! Haha!

I saw an advertisement on ********, I message them about doing an credit application and it kept saying I’m not in the 70 mile range, I live 65 miles from the location and 56 from another location, they told me I’m 75 miles way, I searched both location and sent it to them and to show them I’m not over 75 miles away, and they stop responding, there have been people in county that have got cars from them and have it financed.

Gils Auto Sales on the Buy Here Pay Here side tells Managers and Sales Reps to try and make $10,000-$15,000 per sale on each vehicle sold. Usually most vehicles are marked up $5,000-$12,000 over their cost, then you have around 19.99% interest rates on your purchase.

Was told 1 owner- it was 3. Accident 2015, meant to check the odometer for accuracy. Car was not inspected or the brakes would have been done. $1500 front and back brakes plus. Endangered my 3 baby nephews and one on the way. Shame shame on Gils for lying about the vehicle. Money over my family safety is not an honorable thing. Shame on ya’ll
