We took our van to have the A/C repaired on September 15 2022. We were told a line was leaking and they said they repaired it and it was working great. We picked it up on September 16 paid $380 for the ac work and $60.78 for a coil that was broken. The A/C was blowing hot air. They were closed by the time we turned around and got back to the shop. We left the van overnight and received a call the next morning. They said the ac was blowing 42 degrees. We informed them that it was only 65 that morning of course it was blowing cool, check again in a few hours. They called back and said the expansion valve needed replaced. They called later and said that didn't fix it and it needed a whole kit put in. At this point we told them not to touch anything else. When we picked up the van we had to pay another $240.87 and we were told that the freon was removed from the van and we could get that freon back when we fixed our own van. We asked about the coil and ****(the owner) admitted to breaking it and charging us anyway which is recorded him admitting breaking the part. The invoice they gave us also says that the **** they supposedly fixed and fabricated was still leaking. They scammed us out of $681.00 and refused to reimburse us. We took our van **** and my brother who is a Master Mechanic and Transmission Man, replaced the ** system but it is still not working because of the hose they did not replace that they charged us to replace. These people were very rude to us and even wrote bad reviews to disparage our business when they have NEVER used our business. I did write this story on the review and it forced them to take one of the disparaging fraudulent reviews down. I have been speaking to an attorney who says that it will cost us in excess of what these dishonest people owe us to file suit in small claims court. This van is used to transport an 81 year old to doctors appointments and must have working A/C. We trusted them and they let us down.
