We were told our house would be completed with 120 days from start to finish. We are now 16 months into this and still can't get Alabama Better Built to complete our house . We have to call the owner daily if not weekly to see if there will be anyone working on the house. The owner said he has his own crew .Everyone but the office staff is contracted out so you play the waiting game . We have learned this from his sub contracted crews. The subs have their own jobs and work Alabama Better Built into their schedules . Our house sits idle for weeks and even a few times months on end . The owner has one excuse after the other about the delays . I would not recommend Alabama Better Built to anyone looking for builder. This has been a nightmare trying to get our house finished. Bill M***** the owner will not return phone calls and gives you one excuse after the other about what he calls delays. I think there is poor planning and scheduling on his part . Again think twice about using Alabama Better Built for your home.

Yes, things have taken a lot longer than in years past. The entire nation has been in a supply crunch. Getting materials this past year, has been a nightmare. The contract signed by your husband, line #2, states "the contractor shall use his best efforts to complete the work within 120 days from the start of construction." Your home was started on September 21, 2021. I believe that would be 10 months next week, not 18. We are still waiting on countertops, that you chose, to come in. As soon as they arrive, we will get someone out there and get them finished. Bill said he returned all of your phone calls except for the 12 days he was out sick recently.
