On Thursday April 25th I checked in to the Baymont by ******* after renting the room through Expedia. I was told a $50 room deposit was required and that it would be returned to me in the morning if I paid the deposit in cash which I did. The next morning (Friday April 26) when I checked out, things were bustling and I forgot to ask for my deposit as this is something I have never encountered at hotels of Baymont's usual caliber. The next day (Saturday April 27) I realized I had not received my deposit back and called to ask that it be mailed to me. The woman I spoke with who claimed to be the manager stated the only way I can get the deposit back is to drive over 1000 miles and pick it up in person.Business response
