This complaint involves a contract for my residential roof replacement. The dates involved are from February - November 2023. We signed the contract after 7:00 pm on 6/30/23. Supplies were delivered to my home with no warning and blocked a portion of the driveway. These actions were questioned and I was told they no longer wanted to do business with me, however, they only refunded part of the insurance check. When I contacted them to inquire and attempt to resolve this issue they told me to do what 'I needed to.Business response

Unfortunately, the customer complaint is not accurate. Multiple documented messages were sent to the customer concerning scheduling performance of contracted work. Upon communicating that the customers out of pocket expense was expected upon completion of the work being performed, the customer told us they did not have the amount that would be owed. We then made the decision to pick up the materials and hold off on performing the work until the customer had the required finances. The sum was to be +/- $5000. The customer then became upset and stated she wanted to cancel the contract and wanted her money back. We returned to the customers a payment for (+/- $9000) via cashiers check. This was the amount left from the initial down payment less the percentage stated in the contract should the contract be cancelled after a 72 hour grace ****** from date of signing. ******** was fully educated and aware of all disclaimers associated within the contract prior to signing. Contract was signed 6/30/2023, Customer requested cancellation 8/30/2023.
