I purchased a camper for my family from ******** in ***********, **. They delivered it Friday afternoon late. When I started looking around I noticed water damage. After more inspection I noticed mold and deteriorating wood. Some of the mold was green and even worse black mold. I have three school age children and a grandson. The condition of this new 2022 camper is a health concern/hazard for anyone and definitely shouldnt have been sold. They were aware of these conditions before they delivered it. You could see where they tried to cover it up with paint. The model unit you are shown is not the one you get. I have tried numerous times to work this issue out with them to no avail. They were sent pictures and videos and still no resolution to my requests. They need to refund me or replace it with something that is completely free of mold and leaks. I understand that nothing is perfect but this is unacceptable and unhealthy. Thank you for any help you can provide. A.H. and S.F.Initial Complaint

I purchased a 2007 Cardinal 5th. Wheel Camper for my son in November 2021. I paid $10,000 down on this camper which was $20,000 selling price. I bought a $3,700 extended warranty to go with this. I was told it was Alabama State Law that I "Had to have this". Something about the weather down on the coast. Hurricanes? That is why I bought full coverage insurance. What does a extended warranty have to do with the weather. I had some issues with the camper from day 1 and was told that this camper had been checked out and was ready to deliver. My son inquired about the problems and was told to wait 30 days and then file with the extended warranty?? company and pay a $100 deductible. I called a local RV Repair company and they said they would just needed the policy number and who the company was. I have never received anything .And telling me it was a law in Alabama that I had to have it was very dishonest. And of course now they have their money and won't even talk to me. The camper they sold me also had 15 year old tires on it which two have blown out and the camper has been pulled less than 70 miles. I found out from the US Dept. of Transportation that dealers, whether cars, boats, campers or trailers have to replace tires before selling that are older than 10 years. These are 16 years old. I have called RV's Unlimited and they put me on hold, won't even talk to me. I guess because I am 86 years old they figure I will just go away. I am retired US Army of 30 years service, Chief Warrant Officer W4 and a Viet Nam Veteran. And this is how I get treated? Taken advantage of . They took my money, lied to me about the extended warranty and took another $3700. Sold me a 40ft. 15,000 lb. camper with rotted tires and outdated.
