My name is *****************************, and I am complaining about a business that I have been dealing with. So I recently purchased a vehicle from a used dealership by the name of Cahaba motors the automobile that I purchased was a 2008 **** F150 and currently the vehicle is having transmission problems where the gear is slipping and third the vehicle is still drivable, but only in second and first gear, I reached out to the dealership and they said something about a warranty for the transmission and I called the mechanic that they are using and pay them the deductible of 250 upfront and weeks later, they let me know that there was nothing they could do for me because the mileage was out of warranty and I havent had this car for a year yet and Ive already have paid a transmission specialist to fix my vehicle but I have not received any work done of any type yet. Im not really sure what to do in this situation. I would just really like a quality car.Business response

Firstly, we would like to express our regret for any inconvenience he has experienced with his vehicle. Customer satisfaction is very important to us, and we strive to ensure that every customer is satisfied with their purchase. Unfortunately, his warranty claim does not involve Cahawba Motorz. He indeed purchased the car from us, however, we do not have any dealings with the warranty after purchase.
It appears that there may have been a misunderstanding regarding the process for addressing the transmission issues with his vehicle. Based on the information he provided, it seems that he contacted the mechanic directly and paid them a deductible of $250.However, it is important to note that we were not contacted directly regarding this issue, and the service provider you contacted is responsible for managing the warranty claims and repair process.
Please contact Top Notch Performance, LLC to resolve your warranty claim, as we at Cahawba Motorz are not responsible for processing warranty claims.
We ask that **************** remove this complaint with us and address the correct vendor. We sent an email requesting such and attempted to call, but the number is incorrect.
