DEPLORABLE SERVICE....FROM GENERAL MANAGER TO STORE MANAGER TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Instead of responding to my issue with my defective recliner in addition to being threatened and attacking from the Spanish Fort Lazy Boy Jamaican male employee, the entire issue is being "pushed under the rug" as if its going to go away. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!! The more I'm ignored and the more Mat S*****, General Manager, continues to block me on FB messenger as well as his personal email, the worse the issue.
Today when trying to contact someone, anyone for that matter, of the status of receiving my recliner after repairs completed, the manager in service department at the Mobile Store hung up on me twice, not to mention his rudeness and unprofessionalism. Only due to being transferred from the Spanish Fort store, I was finally able to speak to Jessica B****, customer service department. She refused to connect me to higher management and repeated that she would forward my message for further assistance. This issue has now been ongoing since Tuesday, September 14th.
There is NO contact available to reaching anyone with the Lazy Boy Gulf Coast stores other than email. The lack of personal phone call contact makes for a challenge to rectify problems and only adds to the frustration of the original problems.
Definitely do NOT recommend!! Amazing how the majority of reviews are NEGATIVE, yet Lazy Boy Gulf Coast only reports positive reviews. I not only have had horrible experiences, yesterday, I was threatened, screamed at by an employee of the Spanish Fort store as he came towards me to attack me. He had to be held back due to his aggressiveness, yet he is still employed today. I am not getting any responses from higher up management, but will not allow this threatening attack to go by unnoticed. Lazy Boy Gulf Coast management is deplorable. Prayerfully the owner will get involved. Mat S***** allows Lazy Boy as an whole to have a negative, unprofessional reputation.
Amazing how Mat S*****, General Manager, now has me blocked to avoid addressing the issue with his Jamaican male employee threatening and attacking me!! Mat S***** refuses to return my numerous phone calls. Mat S*****, General Manager, Jessica B****, Customer Service and Nicci S********, Spanish Fort Lazy Boy Store Manager, are most unprofessional along with the department managers at the Mobile Store in customer service and delivery.
I did receive a phone call from the nicest lady this morning in the repair service department, who actually did the repairs to my recliner, to let me know my recliner was complete. Ms. Elsie has been the only one with respect and kindness in this horrific ordeal trying to get my recliner repaired. Thank you Ms Elsie for being so wonderful!!
I have purchased several Lazy Boy products through the past years, many years ago....but the service is deplorable, even so the quality of Lazy Boy products are cheaply made. I will never purchase another product from Lazy Boy, at least NONE in the Lazy Boy Gulf Coast stores!!
