      Roof Doctors, **** of **********, ** installed our flat roof. However since then we have had six major water leaks. We have phoned and begged the owner, ***** on numerous occasions to come out and fix the leaks; however, we still have one major leak that continues to allow large amounts of water into our home. We are concerned about mold and mildew growing in our foam insulation as a result of these continued leaks.

      We used Roof doctors several months back to repair our roof damage after hurricane *****, after months of calling he finally sent his brother out to address our issue his brother came out and did some work and left I did not go on the roof to check behind him months later I went on the roof to paint our smokestack and I realized there was a great amount of damage where he had tried to remove shingles ripped them and then just glued them back in place. I sent these pictures to ***** the owner he seemed very disgusted over the matter and had his brother The very same person who damaged it in the first place to call me to come out. I told him I would rather he sent someone else because his brother clearly did not take any pride in his work and we did not want him back on our property Ive tried time and time again to reach ***** he is now ignoring our calls and text.

      This issue has been resolved per ***** (Owner).

      I greatly appreciate the opportunity to settle this issue before it went public. We are, always have been and will continue to be a very reputable company that takes pride in our work. I respect the decision to take steps to get things accomplished and know that some situations take a longer than others for various reasons. I can say knowing ***** and how often his phone rings it is virtually impossible to answer every single call he receives on his cell phone. That is why he has an office staff that is available **** Monday through Friday. I have done some research and do not seem to see any emails concerning this situation. If **************** would like I am always available during working hours to help in any way I can. Again, had I been aware of this situation it would definitely not gotten as far as a BBB complaint.

      In January of this year, Roof Doctor put a complete new roof on my family's house. Approximately **** sq. foot house. I believe the job was approximately $28,000. About 3 months ago, we noticed a small leak dripping from the ceiling. My wife contacted the company several times and a gentleman named **** apparently came by without notice and we were not there or available to meet him. He notified my wife he had been by. She has called both him and the company 5-6 times. I have now myself called the company and only the receptionist says she'll pas on to ****. **** will not call us back or respond in any way. The leak is going to cause a problem with the carpet. We're having the carpet cleaned this week. We only insist at this time that he return and repair the roof leak.

      In November of 2020 we had a new metal roof installed on our house at **** **** ***** ****, ***** Al. The roof came with a 2 year workmanship Warranty and a 25 year material warranty. On approximately June July 27th I called and requested to have the roof inspected. To make sure the roof was ready for the coming hurricane season. I called repeatedly over the next couple of weeks and left messages for the owner requesting the roof be inspected and was never contacted. On July the 12th we woke up at 4:00am and found water come the vent hood in our kitchen. We have a glass top stove and stove top had about 1/4 inch of standing water on it and water was still coming down the vent hood. We quickly cleaned up the water and placed a large mixing bowl on the stove top to catch the water coming down the vent hood. We were able to clean up the water before any damage was done. At 7:30 am that morning I called the roof Doctor and told them we had water leaking through the vent hood. On the morning of the 13th I left another message and left another message on the 14th. On the 15th after not be called by the Roof Doctor I called ******* ******* who came out on the 16th and replaced the vent cover on the roof. ******* ******* said the vent cover had been improperly installed and that was what was causing the leak. I have picture of the old vent cover and a receipt from ******* ******* stating the vent cover was improperly installed. On the morning of the 18th I received a call from the Roof Doctor stating the would have some one come out and fix the leak. I explained we had the improperly installed vent cover replaced but I wanted to speak to the owner since we had to spend $350.00 dollars to have vent cover replaced. As of this time I have not received a follow up call from the Roof Doctor. We waited several days with no call back from the Roof Doctor before calling another roofing company. I felt we could not wait any longer to have the leak repaired.

          I respectfully apologize for your experience with not getting a repair from us in the timeline you mentioned in your complaint. As relayed to you on telephone conversations we have many repairs we are trying to get to as quick as we possibly can. I spoke with Lance in regard to your complaint on the BBB. Lance said he would gladly pay the $350.00 for the repair you had done and apologized that we could not get to your repair in a timely manner. Lance also asks that you remove your comment on the BBB website. We look forward to hearing back from you soon.

      Roof doctors put a new roof on our home 8/10/2021. We paid $8,100.00. We started having leaks through our vent in the laundry room and fireplace. We have called for months with promises of someone coming out. Someone finally came out to look a couple of weeks ago followed by a promise to fix the issue. No one has come out to fix the problems. We are afraid we may have mold and other problems due to the problem and the length of time we have had this problem.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/03) */ Good afternoon , First I would like to say this roof was done in 2020 as it is not yet 08/10/2021. And it was roofed less than a month before a Cat 2 almost 3 hurricane. These repairs from a new event which is not covered by having a new roof installed before the hurricane.Even Fortified roofs had damage. We have Fixed this problem and had to work around some work another roofer did and used Tar. Hope this is all settled now. Thanks
