I had a recall on my 2015 Ford Escape. The part broke Nov 12, 2022 while I was waiting for notification that dealership had the part. Being a weekend, I had to have the car towed to my house. On Nov 15, 2022 I had my car then towed to the dealership for the repair. They explained that the recall would cover the towing. They would let me know when I could pick my check up. Leading me to believe that they do the reimbursement. Then I find out it has to go through warranty and that lady was out of the office. Then I called a few days later and service manager told me that they didn't send the the towing request. They then resubmitted it. I called Ford Motor Company about this issue. They can't track the reimbursements. I called dealership this morning. Dec 2, 2022. Service manager said that Ford had left the reimbursement off the claim so they submitted it again. I have receive no phone calls from the dealership concerning the status of anything. I am getting the run around from this dealership. They will tell you anything to get you out of the building or off the phone. I had my first issue with them about a year ago concerning another warranty issue. They make me sorry I bought a Ford.Business response

Our General Manager , *** **** got involved in mid December 2022 and decided to pay the rental bill reimbursement . We issued a check for ****** and gave it to Mrs. ******. We are waiting on Ford Warranty to reimburse us for the expense. Customer left happy and was thankful we paid her on Ford's behalf.
