The Editor is about as rude as rude can get. I needed to run a legal ad for my business. I sent several emails with no response. On the last attempt I found the editor and included him on the email. He replied with "have you tried submitting it online". Thats it! Zero help offered and no other communication even after me having issues trying to submit it online. No one answers calls or emails or offers assistance at all. I ended up getting help from an outside source but still haven't received a proof after asking several times for one. There are laws that have to be adhered to when publishing legal ads. I don't think this paper cares at all. *********** WORKERS!Review from Vicki B

I have been a subscriber to the print version of Tuscaloosa News for over 10 years. The past 3 or 4 years I have repeatedly been overcharged, gone days without receiving our papers, received our paper while on a vacation hold, and late receipt of papers.
Pricing is all over the board. Everyone I know who still gets the print version is paying a different price. Mine is one of the higher prices. This should be illegal.
Customer service is no help. They agree I am overcharged well over $**** They say they will correct it but they never do. I have asked to speak to managers but one is ever available. They say they will call back but they never do. You can't call locally any more.
This is our only choice for a local paper and we don't want to give it up. We just want to be charged correctly, and receive what we pay for.

The Tuscaloosa News advertises a print version rate of $*.00 per week, totaled up to $***** per month. This makes sense assuming taxes make up the extra $****.
When I go to subscribe, the jack up the rate another couple of dollars OVER their quoted rate.
This would appear to be *****......
