Date of transaction: April 7, 2023 The amount of money I paid the business: $450.00.What the business committed to provide me: Premium black mulch with a 12-month satisfaction guarantee. What is the nature of the dispute: The bags of mulch were infested with termites or some sort of unusual bugs. The mulch lost its premium black color within 2 weeks and turned a faded shade of gray. Also, some of the bags were already a shade of faded gray immediately upon being opened. I have attempted to work with the company but have not received proper resolution. I have attached a video showing the bug infestation and photos of the faded mulch. Several of my neighbors, also put down premium black much from other brand-named distributors, the same week that I did, and their mulch has not faded and is still black. I would like a refund so that I can purchase an alternate brand as I no longer have faith in this company. I also have a video of the bug infestation but am unable to upload it to this form. Is there another way for me to provide you with the video?

3/9/2023 Order #: ********* online via ****** app with ****** credit card 15 bags of mulch and other items for local pickup. The mulch I purchased said OLDCASTLE on their website. 12 month color guarantee. Premium Black mulch. Advised to go to the side of ******, find & load items myself after waiting in the pick up area & an assosiate brought out other items. Since I had a photo on the ****** app I knew what to look for. The bags had water ****************** built up in them. Next day laid out in flower beds. Turned hands black & took a week to wash it off. Smell of mold. But biggest complaint was that they had roots, plastic, burnt trash, huge chucks of wood from building materials. Then 2 days later every bit of color washed out. I do not have black mulch. I have light brown. 12 month color guarantee. I wrote a review on lowes app for product. I also had read reviews prior to purchase. Some ****** more reviews. Every single one was gone. Also it said this item not available for purchase online. But they had the same exact bag of mulch you could purchase minus the oldcastle name. Let me sum this up; I wasted a month contacting the wrong company arguing with these people who did not sell to Lowes. Lowes put the wrong company name. But it gets better. They would not answer me who did make this mulch. I had already thrown the bags away. So I get on lowes app once again and go to the exact mulch no longer available to buy but still listed under oldcastle and zoom in one the photos of bag. Clearly says "Seaside." I contacted them. They are outraged. Who told them they sold this & they also d ont sell to lowes. Well, by some luck I found a mulch bag wheelbarrow. It says "**** Bark." They dont even have email! Now I have sent over 30 emails wasting every bit of my ************* because Lowes in falsely selling a product under two businesses that have nothing to do with that Lowes or the product. 15 bags of mulch I put out in a retired disabled vet's flower bed. Outraged.
