Meineke did not do a front-end alignment after putting in front struts. Nor did they try to fix the ABS light that came on when finished with the new struts. When I returned the next day was told I had a bad battery and to take my car to a dealership to fix the ABS light.. The dealership charged $*** to repair the pinched ABS line. I feel Meineke should pay me for the damage to the ABS line. Also latter on the mchainic told me he left the key on accessories over night which explains the dead battery.

We did perform an alignment on Ms C******s vehicle after the struts were installed. The abs light was on, we diagnosed it and found low voltage. The battery in her vehicle was 72 months old. It had a Honda sticker on it and stated 100 month warranty. So we recommended she return to the dealer for warranty on the battery (instead of selling her a new one). Ms. C******* stated that the dealer told here we damaged the abs sensor installing the struts ( the abs system is not touched during strut installation), and that they had to take the vehicle apart to diagnose the problem (the vehicle does not need to be taken apart for this diagnostic). Ms. C******* also gave me a point of contact at the dealership. When I spoke with him he stated they gave Ms C******* an opportunity to return to us for the repair. Ms C******* disputes that she was given that choice. Ms C********* authorized the dealership to replace the sensor for almost double what we would have charged a retail customer. Also no documentation was provided to show any repair. If we were given an opportunity to inspect the vehicle if there was damage, that we caused, we would have certainly repaired it at no cost to Ms C*******.
