      My son is on his school's fishing team in high school and they are required to obtain a Bass Masters membership to participate in the tournaments. This is his second year on this team. I paid his student membership and then a week later was charged for a reoccurring membership at a higher rate from the previous year. I called the customer service line and the representative said that this is an ongoing problem and would gladly get a check out to me. He stated that he was unable to refund the credit card used. It is now going on 6 months and I have not received a refund. I have called numerous times and it is always the same response, " we are sorry, we have escalated this to our accounting department and they will get a check out to you." As of this day I have still not received a check for the refund. I will also be looking into a lawyer to see if there is a case for a class action law suit as there are a plethora of complaints online for this same thing.

      A refund check has been sent and was cashed by the recipient on 5/24/24. We apologize for the delay in timing as there was a breakdown in communication between our 3rd party customer service department and accounting with this account.

      4/17/2023 - BASSMASTER OFFICIAL STORE - ************ ********************************************** I received an email on 4/12/2023 which looked like it was from Bass Pro Shop and that is why I ordered.I ordered $59.07 worth of products and my credit card was charged but I NEVER RECEIVED THE ORDER.I had a difficult time finding a customer service phone number. When I called on 5/1/2023 I spoke with someone named *********. He was very RUDE/NASTY and said product was shipped. He was not helpful and would not let me speak to a supervisor and hung up on me twice.VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I am very very upset about this.I put a fraud dispute with my credit card company. NEVER ORDER ONLINE!!

      BASS, aka Bass Anglers Sportsman Society and Bassmaster.com,, held their registration for the 2022 Opens tournaments on November 9, 2021, at 9 am, Central time for life members. I went to the BASS website and entered the Southern Opens, all three tournaments, at 9 am, Central time, on November 9, 2021. After 2 weeks from the registration date, I was told I was on the waiting list for entry to the Southern Opens. It is my position that my entry was in a timely manner to secure a spot in the Southern Opens and not placed on the waiting list. It is apparent that the website for registration was flawed thus causing me to be placed on a waiting list. BASS has admitted that the website was messed up causing individuals like me to be placed on a waiting list and denied entry for the Southern Opens. Since I was on a waiting list, I received a refund for the deposits on the Southern Opens. Based on my timely entrance to the website, I should be able to re-submit my deposits for the Southern Opens and gain a spot in the Southern Opens without being placed on a waiting list. I am sure BASS will come up with some type of excuse to rebuke my claim and why they committed an unjust action against someone like me that entered in a timely manner before the Southern Opens were full. I have been a life member for 40 plus years and know that some of these entries are filled by sponsors which is also unfair for someone like me who has to go thru the flawed website, It is not my fault that BASS was not properly prepared to handle the demand for entries on the prescribed date for registration, especially since the controlling interest of BASS is held by Anderson Media Corporation. .

      Business Response /* (1000, 18, 2022/01/24) */ Unfortunately, like many others, Mr. *******'s registration was not received in time to secure a spot in the 225 pro angler field. The Bassmaster Opens are extremely popular and filled to capacity at 9:26:41 CST on 11/9/21. Mr. ******* registration was received at 9:36:02 CST 11/9/21 and he was #32 on the waiting list at that time. BASS received over 350 pro entries before we closed registration. All anglers that did not want to remain on the waiting list to backfill any openings were given a refund of the deposit. Mr. ******* was given a full refund as he states and that is the proper procedure for any angler on the waiting lists request a refund. Any angler that remains on the waiting list stays there until the event in over and should the angler not receive entry they are issued a full refund of the deposit. This procedure has been in place since before my hiring at BASS in 2004.
