      i checked my bank account my husband i got wirescrossed and paid few bills i guess that we did have funds in account to cover. i paid these bills and they showed on my account then they disappear n reappear everytime im broke. idk why they come n go if i see them in there i assume they are taken out. But i had 4 $32 changes for 4 bills that they DID not pay I stopped overdraft coverage so i would never have this issue! how can u charge someone for something u had no action / money in? these bills where 27 41 53 n 50 ! how is charging someone more or close to the overdraft fee suppose to help them! i know the bank dont care just wanna make money but this is unacceptable. they said that i had to overdraft charges refunded this year but i dont care how many refund charges someone has gotten refunded when its not right its not right because the other two was not right either. they did refund two of those charges but still charge me the other two today so now my account is overdrafted $57 and didnt pay any of the four bills so the credit card bills are going to be an issue they said they would pay like charges like at a gas station or something but your bills they wont pay those bills are more important!

      To Whom It May ********************* you for contacting us with this complaint. 

      Listerhill Credit Union has reviewed the phone conversation with ********************* and determined that there is a misunderstanding of what opting-out of LCUs overdraft program accomplishes.  If a member has opted-out of overdraft services, LCU will not pay an item or charge a fee for any debit card transaction when funds are not available in the account.  However, if a check or ACH item is presented we will reject the item and charge a $32 fee.  This fee is charged due to the manual work that must be done to process the return.  We disclose this fee on our Rate & Fee Schedule that is attached. 

      It appears that **************** has had 5 fees assessed this month.  Due to the misunderstanding, LCU has reversed all 5 of these fees but will not refund any future fees.  We have tried to reach out to the member and left 2 voicemails but have not been able to speak to her.  We plan to explain how to set up her payments so this does not happen in the future.

      i work same hours as bank so its about impossible to return call . Also 3-5 more charges showed up since it had positive balance yesterday on the same transactions. So im not sure if they was removed n added back on!?! But listerhill was explaining different charge types saying they will pay at gas station but not a bill if insufficient funds which blows my mind. I dont care who you are sometimes things slip up and punishing someone or throwing dirt on someone trying to dig out of a whole just seems evil to me! Because its not like the bank isnt making its money because interest rates are crazy right know

      my account is still overdrafted $89.62 because 3 more fees were added for the same payments still no bill was paid all rejected. Total of 8 $32 each for not paying the transaction. if im not mistaken isnt that the point of putting in your info from debit card and hitting pay now they see if funds are there and then what why dont actually charge your account until 3 days later i dont get it . how is that suppose to work anyway

      Listerhill Credit Union is willing to help as much as we can.  At the time of the previous response, LCU had refunded all fees for the month of November that had accrued.  We would like to discuss this matter further over the phone to educate on how this process works as well as discuss better options for these types of payments in the future to ensure these fees are not assessed.  Will you please reach out to us at ********************* or ask for **** ****.  She is one of our Regional Managers and she looks forward to trying to resolve this issue for you.

      they added 3 new charges  the day after complaint was dealt with for same thing refused to remove  them and i dont need to be explained this process ive figured that out on my own. i still disagree with charge if u refused to pay u shouldnt charge a fee for not paying causing further hardship yall should have policy to do no harm
