I was approved for the ARcare PrEP program which is a grant funded program. I was approved to see Doctors at ARcare for my medical needs for all of 2022. I had several appointments in 2022 that were covered under the program except the last appointment on October 6, 2022. I was sent a bill for this office visit in March of 2023 for $212.04. I called ARcare billing department to resolve the issue but got the runaround. I called the Benton, Arkansas location where I see the Doctors and was told that I was in fact covered under the program and should not have received a bill. I spoke to ******** ********* at the Benton office and was told to come in and fill out a new form because they seem to have lost my paperwork. So I went to Benton location and submitted my forms. I was told they would be given to the office manager. I never heard back from them so I had to repeatedly call to speak to ******** or the office manager who she would not name. I never spoke to an office manager or supervisor. I was told to email my paystubs to ******** to verify my income to backdate my paperwork since they lost it. I called back a few days later and was told it was taken care of only to receive another bill. Now this is June 5, 2023 I have repeatedly called. Now they won't transfer me to anyone. I have been a patient since 2019 and feel robbed of my medical care. I need to be taking my medication but I can't. I would like ARcare to acknowledge that I was approved for the program the last year being 2022 I have not been back because of this issue. I should not have to pay this bill if I know I was already in the program and they have admitted I was still in the program that ended December 2022. My last appointment was in October. Both parties know this should be covered. I just want this resolved. ***** ****** Account ******* Date of service= 10/06/2022
