I purchased a2014 GMC Sierra from Cleo used cars July 2024 down payment 2,100$ I left the lot heading to wrk and got close to Fordyce At and noticed a little jerk when gear changed I call him the same day , and he did not answer, I called the next day he told me to bring it back y he added transmission fluid to it.. it drove good the rest of tht day well the jerking started back I called him an he asked if I could least it with him I said yes and took it to him “ they was probably the 5/6 day of purchasing the truck.. he told me he changed out the transmission fluid’s w we will see how it goes from there, well it Fido go well cause it was still slipping/jerking when driving. I ask him can I just bring it back and he replace the transmission he said that I hve to cal credit acceptance cause once purchase was complete he had nothing to do with the vehicle. I called credit acceptance they had me to take it and have dynostic test done a the mechanic said tht the transmission was going out. They did investigation w said because I continue to drive the truck I messed it up. I paid all my money on down payment and the truck was my only transportation. Asked if I can take it back to his lot they said tht would b abandonment so i keep it .stop making payments and I stop driving it.. well I was having problems getting a ride to wrk so I start drive it again made arrangements to pay notes and after A month or so the truck wouldn’t go forward or backwards.. so now it’s on my credit and i been trying to purchase different things and repo pops up on my credit. I’m tryin to see Wht is it I can do.. I alsoBusiness response

*** ****** purchased the 2012 GMC Sierra on June 16, 2023 and did bring it back within the first month saying there was a jerk sometime in the shifting of the transmission. We serviced the transmission (changed the filter and fluid) and test drove the vehicle. When it proved to drive out fine *** ****** picked up her truck. Some time later, (I don't have a record of how long it was before she came by again) she said the truck would still jerk "every once and awhile" and could I replace the transmission. I informed her that i couldn't replace the entire transmission for an intermittent condition. I did not hear from her again.
I was not aware that *** ****** had abandoned the vehicle until I saw it at an auction in April of this year at which time that I found the pickup to still be in good shape I bought the truck from the finance company. We serviced the truck and sold it a few weeks later and the current customer has had no problems with the transmission that I am aware of.
