Leaving one star as this will not allow for me to leave a review without choosing, but should receive 0 stars. We hired Josh Gosnell, owner of Piney Creek Home Services on 7/19/22 to tear down and rebuild a deck and build a fence for our yard according to code and the deck should be able to withstand holding a hot tub. Facts are: He was posting photos of work performed by other licensed companies, not HIS company, as he presented the information, on the website he had at the time and on his company and personal page on Facebook. The license number he gave to my husband, was the license to another company entirely, K****** Construction, which he was posting their completed work photos on his page as well as another company H**** ******** Solutions. His references (we didn’t know at the time) included his fiancé. After having his work inspected when he did not come back to redo issues brought to his attention, we were told the following : he used indoor nails to complete the work on my outdoor projects to my fence and deck, neither are done to code, gate doors do not work properly, untreated wood was used, plethora of cosmetic issues, concrete from posts is crumbling already, half wall of fence is being held up by a horizontal picket placed in the ground (like the backing of a pic frame), part of the fence isn’t connected to the house, nails are protruding through the fence, and deck is not strong enough to hold a hot tub. He had the audacity to tell us that he wants things done to our satisfaction and will come back at no additional charge. He also charged sales tax on our invoice, and does not have a sales tax permit for Arkansas, therefore is not paying sales tax to the state.
