      We had a claim stemming from last September that was never resolved. We had pipe work done underneath the house which resulted in a hole being cut out into the floor. Farm Bureau agreed to have the hole filled after the work was done. The guy they choose played cat and mouse when it came to getting in touch with us to have the hole filled. When I finally spoke with him, he advised he was too busy to do the job. I spoke with our insurance agent ******, who then advised they could not find anyone else and that we would have to find a business to do the job and to have them to send him an estimate. This was about 3 weeks ago. We have been trying to locate a business with no success to this day. However, it rained for two days starting on 3/23 and because of the hole, our entire basement flooded causing further damages. I reached out to our agent ****** and was advised they had done their due diligence and we have had an ample amount of time to get the hole filled. What makes him think we have had an ample amount of time when they could not find anyone? He basically advised me that they covered things within our claim that they normally would not have. So based on that it relieves them of covering the hole/finishing the job? He even defended this guy he chose to do the job in the first place stating he tried to reach us. We tried to reach him multiple times. Constantly! ****** and countless others had no issues with reaching us when it came to coming out to our home so I don't get it! This whole episode has been terrible for us as paying Farm Bureau customers. I would hate to move our business elsewhere but customer service is very important to us. We have been treated rudely and unfairly! I'm in the insurance business as well so I know this should be rectified and with a different agent that believes in speaking to people in a respectable way. We still have this open hole and now with flood damage and our septic pump is now out due to all of this.
