I bought a 2018 Lincoln Continental from this dealership last year and it needs a new transmission. That's not even the primary issue at this point. Here is the primary issue, I dropped my vehicle off at this dealership on Mon, Oct 9th. The warranty process took 3 weeks by itself. The issue was deemed preexisting which is fine. I told the dealer to move forward with the repair on Tues, Oct 31st. It took 2 weeks for the parts to arrive which means my parts arrived on Mon, Nov 13th. I've been understanding and patience but there has been no sense of urgency to return my vehicle. When I reached out to see if my parts arrived (I've had to follow up because there's been no consistent communication or updates) - I was told they were working to identify a service bay to begin the repairs. On Fri, Nov 17th, I reached out to check the status to see how things were coming along and I was told that a service bay still hasn't been identified so the repairs haven't started. I planned to have my vehicle back by Thanksgiving, so I want to the dealership on Mon, Nov 20th to see exactly what was going on. I was told by the service director that my vehicle would be ready by Fri, Dec 1st. I went to the dealership yesterday (Nov 29th) to check the status and I was told that my vehicle would be ready by Fri, Dec 8th (another week). I started out paying for a rental car at daily rates which if I had known it would take this long, I would have paid monthly rates which would have saved money. The lack of communication and consistent updates has been an extreme inconvenience and has cost me more money than needed. I'm grateful to have the capabilities to pay for a rental but the dealership has not exhibited the level of professionalism I expected. Although I understand that most of the timeline was out of their control, unfortunately I am extremely disappointed in the level of service and my overall experience with this dealership.

I own a class A motorhome on a 2019 Ford F-53 chassis for which I obtained routine maintenance service at this dealership in 2021. In 2022 I was told by the dealership that they could not provide the service because of lack of facilities & technicians but the problem would be resolved in the near future. I received an (unsolicited) ad in early 2023 reminding me that service was due, and suggesting that I schedule on-line, which I did. The on-line form clearly stated that service was to be on a motorhome chassis and I was assigned an advisor, Doug B*****. I drove 30 miles for the appointment and was shown to Mr B*****'s desk where I, the only customer in line for service, waited 10 minutes for him to return to his station. He then told me the dealership does not do work on motorhomes. This was confirmed by Jeff B****, the Service Manager, who also stated the dealership would never again do service or maintenance on motorhomes. Both men were politely firm, and apologetic, but could not offer a reason other than "glitch" for sending advertisements for unavailable service, or why the appointments had not been screened in house to allow notification in timely fashion to the customer to save a time consuming and inconvenient trip. While leaving the lot in frustration, I did notice two (2) motorhomes parked in the service area. I can only assume that they are the personal vehicles of owners/managers which CAN be serviced at the dealership. My experience certainly confirms the series of "1 star" reviews seen here.

The most disappointing Service Department I have ever had to work with, I swear they DO NOT listen at all. I wont be going back to McLarty Daniels at all.

The customer service that we experienced here was the worst. We had to locate the part ourselves that they needed for our car repair. We were told by their customer service manager Chelley it had been ordered but could be May before the vehicle would be ready. This was the first of Feb!!!
We ourselves located the needed part in less than 30 minutes at a different dealership. Chelley then asked if we would pay the difference if the part cost them more and to have it shipped to them. At this point we brought Ford Corp Customer Care in to help us since this vehicle was still under the original warranty. After they received the part we were told as well as the Ford Customer Care representative that repair was being made and the vehicle would be ready by such and such date. The day would come and go but the vehicle still wouldn't be ready. We had to escalate to finally get an answer from the GM Jason that they hadn't even started the repair. It was 5 weeks of us escalating and Ford Corp escalating to get this repair finished. In my opinion simple basic customer service is needed...follow up, return calls and always tell the customer the truth. Not once did anyone here apologize for this ordeal
