I took my truck to the dealership due to a grinding noise in front end. They replaced everything, including new rotors. The rotor replacement was not necessary. Rather than turning the rotors like a normal shop, they replaced all 4 rotors unnecessarily, for an additional cost of $655.76. Rotors only need replaced when they are damaged, or worn thin enough that they can't be turned anymore. This truck has never had brake work done and shouldn't have needed these parts. they intentionally ran up the bill. This vendor also charges 3% extra for credit transactions, which I understand the credit card companies don't allow. I'd also like to know why they charge 61.60 for a fuel induction kit, and 110.66 on the other page for fuel induction treatment, they pour the stuff into the gas tank, I'd hate to think I paid $110.66 for the guy to open a bottle and pour the contents into the gas tank.Business response

Tell us why here...Hello, in response to the mentioned case.
When customers hear a grinding that is the brake pad backing plate grinding on the rotor. In these cases rotors are replaced, not resurfaced as to resurface them after being "metal to metal" we would have to lathe too much metal out of the rotor putting them below minimum thickness.
In response of the fuel Induction/Injection service this is a 3 part kit designed to clean the throttle body, fuel rail, and intake. This is not a pour in service, rather you connect to shop air, routing to the throttle plate, computer controlling the throttle to approx. 1,300-1,400 rpms for approximately 20-30 mins. Then finish cleaning throttle plate, and test drive and clear codes. What you are seeing in your invoice is the labor for performing this service and the cost of the fuel kit itself.
For the last concern of the 3% fee, Credit card company's charge for processing transactions, many business' refer to it as a convenience fee . We do not have a fee on debit cards, checks, or cash payments.
