Date of Install: July 13th, 2022 Amount paid: $1,440.00 (see attached image of the cashed check) What the business committed to provide to you: Boster Flooring stated that they would rip up and dispose of the old carpet and pick up and install the new carpet that I had purchased. This was for the upstairs master and guest bedrooms, 4 closets, the hallway, and the stairs. They took away the old carpet and installed the new carpet but the carpet for the stairs was improperly installed, causing it to be a tripping hazard. Ron met with me afterward to evaluate and receive payment. He said that he would have the stairs redone and would schedule to have this done once he had completed his current project. After a month of few updates, they have ghosted me and refused to respond to my messages. What the nature of the dispute is: I would like to receive reimbursement for the $200 dollars he charged me for doing the stairs (this can be seen on the picture of the Boster Flooring Bill). If the business is not amenable to that, having them redo the stairs is a possible alternative. Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the dispute: I received several text messages from them promising to redo the stair carpet (as seen in the attached images) but they have not responded or scheduled a time to do said repair since August of 2022.
