    We reported (with pictures) seeing bed bugs in person on this May 13, 2024. We have since dealt with bed bug bites; frequent phone calls that interrupted my work day at my new job; having to strip down one-by-one outside so we could take showers and not risk bringing any bed bugs into our brand new home; losing medications like inhalers and epipens, as well as food, because of having to leave everything in the truck and fogging it and heating it; having to pay to have our clothing hot washed at a laundromat, as well as other costs.... The other hotel we stayed at did everything in their power to prove the bed bugs did not come from them. Contrariwise, this one kept lying to us about provable things, blaming the other hotel, and not wanting to admit it was a possibility. They did end up having an exterminator come, and they did apparently treat the room (which was hot and humid–great environment for bed bugs) but, per their own words, the inspection was not thorough, unlike the other hotel that stripped everything down and even checked any neighboring rooms. This hotel will not take any responsibility, even though we now know, after much digging and inspection and processing of the information we received, that the bed bugs could only have come from here, were only seen here (more than one of them), and were non-existent on our trip before this but three more were found in our truck after the stay (nothing prior, and nothing at our home or any other location we were at, even briefly). This hotel has been gaslighting us, lying to us, saying it's our fault, saying it's impossible they have bed bugs, saying it's impossible any visitor before us may have brought them in and they didn't notice before placing us in the same room (they said no one has stayed there before us). They are nice until they need to be held accountable.

We are very sorry that you had such a negative experience, your opinion and satisfaction are very important to us.  Rest assured that your comments are taken to heart and we will do everything we can to improve. At Days Inn, we work very hard to make sure all our guests have a comfortable stay. We take a proactive approach by internally inspecting each room and having external pest control companies provide treatments.  We apologize that during your stay you had an unpleasant experience and hope you will consider staying at Days Inn in the future.  As per your request we provided the inspection by Terminix Reports as you told us that you wanted to see. In perspective Terminix checked all the surrounding rooms also and found nothing Only found a large adult in the room you stayed which indicates that it came from outside.  We are honest and sincere with you and have been very cooperative with you the whole way.
