on may 19, I was on the grounds of Immaculate Conception catholic church helping with end of school year party at the school. the subject company was mowing the church grounds when one of their machines projected a rock through my car's windows. the operator admitted they were responsible for the damage but the owners are refusing to make good on their liability and pay for the repairs. the owner's name is **** ****** and after several attempts at discussing this and a good cussing from his wife, I turn to you.Business response

In regards to this complaint -
One of our crews threw a rock while weed eating and hit the vehicle belonging to Mrs. *******. At the facility where it happened, we notified the facility supervisor and Mrs. ******* that this incident happened. We immediately started working with Mrs. ******* to get her window fixed as this happens from time to time during the process of maintaining the grounds. We contacted our glass person and were notified that the specific window needed to be replaced would have to be ordered as it was not one, they kept in stock. This happened on a Friday and was told the window would not be in until Tuesday of the next week. Mrs. ******* was not having any of that and wanted if fixed that day as she stated the car was NOT drivable?? The glass company offered to come to the location and tape up the window so it would be safe to operate the vehicle without the glass falling out. She refused this. She stated she wanted us to "Rent her a car until the glass came in". We informed her that we as a company could not just go and rent her a car but we would turn it into our business insurance and they handled situations like this. We did tell her all along that we would pay for the cost of replacing the window. She continued to get mad and began attempting to smear our name through the mud all over social media. That afternoon we turned all this information over to our business insurance company and they handled it from there. We halted communication with Mrs. ******* as we felt it would become a legal issue.
Outcome was that our insurance company paid for all cost of replacement window and paid for her a rental car.
We went out of our way to try and rectify the situation and she was being very difficult to deal with. We have never done business with the person - she is just attempting to tarnish our image though any channel possible even after the situation was rectified.
