      5 stars only for the service technician that very was welcoming and friendly. 0 stars for the overall pricing and the way they try to scam people out of money by offering all kinds of extra unesscary services. Tried to get me to buy these extras plus telling me I had worn out tires(only 26k miles all highway).

      I purchased a car for my mother from Crain Buick on March 20. It was a 2016 Buick Encore with approximately 72,000 miles on it. I paid cash and bought a $4000 warranty. To date, I have had to put it in the shop to be repaired twice already and now it is giving indications there is ANOTHER problem that will require repair. I have already paid $500.00 in deductibles and will have to do it again not to mention a loaner car has not been supplied or offered. Not even TWO WEEKS after receiving the car (which I had to wait 2 days to pick up due to the dealership completing some "maintenance and repair issues"), did I have to take the car to get it repaired. This is UNSATISFACTORY and should be absolutely illegal that a "reputable" dealership should be able to sell a car and not even two weeks later it needs repair. You quickly cashed my check (which initially the dealership said they could not accept personal checks) and now you want to be done with the transaction. I wish I had checked BBB about this dealership before purchasing a vehicle. They are sullying the CRAIN name. I'm not done with this...

      They are still sending out credit applications to banks, ruining my credit score, even after deciding not to pay on time for 11% plus of interest and purchased car with cash 2 months ago. They also placed a lender on my Title that never picked up the loan and I had to get a letter of release from JP Morgan Chase Bank to release the title to me so I could put it in my name that I was sole owner of car, drove off the lot with the car that nobody owned, can you imagine that! Constant battle going on for months now. No wonder they're not BBB accredited.

      They will trick you. Monday, Dec. 11, 2023, when they sat me down at their computer desk, I thought they were only collecting information to help me find a truck. I was not ready to buy nor apply for any applications. I was short on time and agreed to come back another day to compare vehicles. At the time, I didn't know better and answered all their questions thinking it was standard protocol for returning guests. I was weary in the midst of the conversation and repeatedly told them to not check my credit and they (the GM and salesman) told me not to worry. Well sure enough later that same day, I had a notification that a hard inquiry was made by them. I believe they used my information to apply for a credit application, signing it for me without my consent. I didn't see what they doing on the computer, but I also repeatedly told them to not check my credit. I never signed any paperwork. I did not give them consent for any application. I will inform the public about their way of doing business. This is only the beginning of the process and they already lost trust.

      Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Personnel were courteous and immediately got me checked in and settled in to the waiting area where they had some refreshments. An hour later my vehicle was ready to go. They even vacuumed and gave me a free carwash. Very professional.

      On Feb 27 we went into this dealership not specifically looking to buy a vehicle. After looking at the inventory that they had on hand we settled that we would like to walk off the lot with a truck for my husband. While signing paperwork our sales rep asked us about our income {not unusual} but then proceeded to mark my husbands income as 10x the amount that we stated! After signing papers and walking off the lot with the vehicle we received a call from Wells Fargo asking about my husbands income to which we laughed and told them that there was some mistake, Wells Fargo ensured that the issue would be resolved. The next day the dealership called us to inform us that we "lied" on our credit application. We went back in {two weeks after the initial visit} and resigned "corrected" paperwork. After calling Wells Fargo ourselves we were informed that they had the correct annual income on our credit application, Wells Fargo had already done their due diligence and called his employer to talk about income. Yet we were called a THIRD time by the dealership saying that we again lied on our credit application. We schedule a time to meet with our sales rep, the finance manager and the GM of this dealership show up for the meeting and our sales rep was not there and the GM shook our hand said he'd be right back and then proceeded to get in his car and drive away! We went into the finance office and asked the finance manager what was going on and he told us that we again lied on our application at that time we called Wells Fargo in the finance office to prove to them that we indeed did not because Wells Fargo had the right information and that we were tired of their crap! Our sales rep specifically told my husband that we were "screwing him out of a big commission check" after he intentionally wrote our income down wrong! 10/10 do NOT recommend!

      I was sold a 360 point inspected tundra that ended up having aftermarket catalytic converters, which is causing my check engine light to come on. which throws the fuel air ratio off...they told me it was fine to drive.. i bought the truck before Christmas, light came on 2 days later, took the truck back in on Monday and have been dragged around and lied to about them fixing it. it's now March and nothing has been done. no communication, no care, absolutely zero customer service values. its like they got my money now heres the finger to uour problems. all I want is for them to make it right, but they won't own up to the fact that they failed the trade in inspection and take full ownership of the problem. this is a disgrace of a company, and nobody in the service management department should have a job.
