I talked to someone at snap on about sending me a replacement of my 16 piece Screwdriver they said they were gonna send it out. Using UPS and the first time I got a delivery date and I waited around all day for only to find out that snap-on forgot to put my apartment number on it And then I got a second delivery date for this past Saturday, April 27, 2024 waited around all day for the package to never show up when he said he’ll be here at 12 and then I found out from Ups That snap-on Forgot to put my apartment number on it again. It seems like snap on playing games not wanting to get my package or replacement so you can get my package and make them put my apartment number on it. You can make it up to me seeing Snap on made me wait around two separate days all day doing nothing when I had plans so can you make it up to me and when I make it up to me I don’t get my package here because my package should be the number Priority thing it’s a warranty replacement package, but they should make it up to me some other way by sending Another tool or a gift card or something to make it up to make is bull And snap on his playing games and I talk to us snap on was **** * ****t her and I talk to her multiple times about it and she said she would handle it and fix it and it never got fixed right so I waited two days waiting for a package. They never showed up on those delivery dates from UPS so it seems like it’s not UPS’s fault and it’s snap one Fault so can you have them make it up to me someway somehow whether it means they sent me Tool to make up for another to make up for it or a gift card or something, but they need to make this up to me other than sending me the replacement tool

I had been buying tools from the tool truck for a good while now. Up until then i had no issues i always paid more each week when the guy came. Then one day he sells me this nice black tool box that totaled around 11- 13k. Then about a month later he sells me a top piece that alone went for around 3k. Everything was fine until i switched shop. I didnt have a credit card, i always paid the guy cash. It was hard for me to pay him but i still did but i wanted him to transfer my account over to the snap on guy at my new location. Because i had every intention to continue paying it off. Eventually its clear that the guy Paul from snap on was not going to transfer my account therefore i wouldnt be able to pay for it and i would lose it.
Sure enough he takes it and that ruined my credit and still Snap on wants me to pay the rest i owed.
What kind of scams are they doing? When i spoke to their credit department i told them " so basically theres nothing i could of done to keeo it and you still were going to take it away and make me pay the rest right? Because i was paying on time i tried transferring the account the other snap on guy at my new location was willing to help me he just needed paul the seller to give it over to him. He didnt want to. I tried and still you want me to pay"
    Yes she said.
My credit ***** thanks to them.

    Snap-On Tools Response

    01/20/2022

I write in response to the complaint lodged by Mr. ******* I note at the outset that this is a complaint related to a contract held by Snap-on Credit. Snap-on Credit does not do business with consumers; rather, it finances the acquisition of tools, tool storage, and diagnostic equipment by professional auto mechanics and technicians who use the product in their work, not for personal, family, or household purposes. The transaction about which Mr. ****** complains is a commercial transaction This complaint refers to events that we believe occurred in 2017. Mr. ****** previously entered into two commercial contracts with his Snap-on Franchisee for the purchase of Snap-on products to use in his work or trade. The contract was subsequently assigned to Snap-on Credit. Snap-on Credit made multiple attempts to contact the customer via both phone and letter about the abandonment of his product, and thereafter, about the failure to respond or to make contractual payments. A review of our records show no indication of Mr. ********* difficulty in the method of making payment being an issue of card or cash, and very few contacts generally, only after the repossession was about to be processed. However, due to the length of time that has passed and in the interest of resolving Mr. ********* claims, Snap-on will cease further collection attempts on this account and address the tradeline accordingly.

No this isnt true that repeatedly you guys tried to contact me since the beginning. From the first day that I went to the new location in La Mirada I met the snap on dealer from that locatiln Mr Carl.
He even tried contacting Paul and getting my information and making the transfer so that I can continue making my payments.
You guys record all phone call correct? Well in one of the very first phone call when im speaking with the agent from your company I told the person. That basically even tho I was making the payments I tried gettihg the transfer done over with Carl, I was making all my payments, still there is nothing I could of done to stop my box from being repossesed right?
"Yes". Thats the answer that I was given.
Also on another recorded phone call an agent said that Paul had done a few payments on my account to "help me" , where in my contract does it say that I was allowing him to make payments on my account? I didnt not read that on the contract.

If you guys really did try reaching out to me then the transfer could of been done so I can continue to make payments on the tool box.
Paul only tried calling me to make him a payment directly but when I would tell him to give me the information i needed to transfer the account it is snap on who stayed silent. Even Carl the snap on guy at the new location i was at he tried emailing paul and asked him for my account info and he never received a response either.

I was always willing to make payments. I was never given a reason why he wouldnt let me make payments with Carl. If you guys were trying to contact me then why didnt you guys make the transfer to pay when paul wouldnt do it?
