I purchased a car with my mom as a co signer in July. When we first got the car things were fine but my blind spot detection light came on right after driving it off the lot. Then it took them almost 2 months to get me my title and other paper work. Then when I got it I found out they didn’t notarize it at all. So I had to send it back to them more than three times. With that fixed after months and more than 3 temp tags I took my paperwork to the dmv and there was spelling issues throughout all of the legal paperwork. Called them and the dmv called them in October and they were supposed to fix it but haven’t heard from them until I called them on the 20th because my temp tag expired. They tried to argue that they didn’t know about the issue and then argued there were no spelling issues. Finally emailed it to me but they were and are hateful and disrespectful. My penalties are going to be very high due to them taking 6 months to fix it. I want some help and I need to take them to small claims court to. At this point they need to come down to Tulsa and pay this. I’m frustrated. And needing helpBusiness response

Afternoon-
The customer has been advised to pay the required sales tax due to the state of Oklahoma. Once this is complete supply us with a copy of the registration and we would refund fees and state taxes to them at that time. We are understanding with the consumer, this is why we agree to return fees and taxes.
I find this to be satisfactory to resolve the issue.

We purchased a new car a couple of weeks ago from Crain Kia in Fayetteville. I notice we was not being updated on the paperwork. They said we would at signing. Well, we signed the paperwork and was presented a "thumb drive" with all the contracts. I trusted them to be fair with me due to my age. Nope. Three days later I was able to get someone to open this thumb drive and see what I bought. Right off the bat I noticed they didn't add the sales tax in the financing. Next thing I noticed was they had added a couple of service contracts for about $3000. We are living on social security so coming up with $1800 for sales tax before we register it was a slap in the face. On top of that $3000 service plan for a new vehicle is outrageous. I called the salesman but he said there was nothing he could do. The next day I called the sales manager but he wouldn't even try to help us. My only options are taking the car back and being charged with a repo or keeping it stored in my garage.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/30) */ I met with Mr. **** on 8/30/2021 @ 10:35AM. I explained to ****** that the loan has been fully processed and it can not be returned. The Lender is Kia Financial and they are no the lien holder. I'm unbale to go back and resubmit a funded contract. I discussed the warranties and they are being cancelled to offset with taxes due the state as well. The check will goto KIA towards the principal of the loan. I also advised that I would type a letter head to the state to help remove the taxes for its portion. Myself and Mr. **** are meeting again on Sept 10 before his temp plate is to expire to check on the warranty cancelations. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2021/08/30) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) It is still not totally resolved but we are making progress towards it. The sales tax was not expected but at least we are working on it.
