BBB and Buffington, The pool gate for Allen's Mill subdivision has not been operational for two years. I have made phone calls, emails, and the topic has been brought up to Real Clear Neighborhood POA and Buffington on multiple attempts. Buffington associates are members of the community Facebook group in which this has been brought up. I have emailed directors and vice presidents in the company with no return call or email or acknowledgement that the situation needs to be resolved. The only information given to the residents is that they will "work on it". Which they haven't. The pool gate does not lock or latch, therefore it does not deter any child or someone that lives outside the community to get into the pool at any hour. For example a child could open the gate unsupervised and go in the pool which leads to a huge concern for safety. In a community with so many young families why would we want this risk. Also the AR Dept. of Health states a pool must have a self closing or self latching gate - which this one does not. I simply ask that the gate is fixed with a time bound deadline as it hasn't been in two years.
