    When I found this unit it was advertised for $1245. They showed me the property at the $1245 as stated in the rental ad. Houses inc. looked at our income and how much income we had, then decided to raise it to $1545. It is illegal to charge different prices to renters like that, yet they did it to us anyway. I know because I have spoke to My neighbors who rent The same type of unit I do, and only pay $1245 for it. Mind you that this is a 2 bedroom unit, with 1 parking spot, and a stackable washer n dryer that they went from $1245 to $1545 Even though it was advertised at $1245 when i found it, and to begin with. They took advantage of us, from the get go, AND CONTINUE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE. We rented for 1 year. They again raised the rent to $1632. Odd number, I know. They raised it and have done nothing new to the unit, just raised it for no reason. Mind you, I replaced the carpet in this unit out-of-pocket because they refused to put replace their dirty stained carpet. I had to pay for it if I wanted to have clean carpet. I paid $2000 to re carpet their apartment, because they refused to replace the dirty stained carpet, it was bad stained too, and they still had the audacity and disgusting attitude of, hey, let's charge her more $. THE HUGE BLACK AND RED ANTS ARE A MAJOR PROBLEM. I've lived there for over a year and have not seen pest control even a single time. You're not allowed to have pets but people That own the units here can have pets. And they crap all over the parking lot and parking Spaces of other renters. So you're not allowed to have animals. But you will have to deal with other people's animals and their feces that they leave all over the parking lot and parking spaces. Literally not a single improvement was done in a year, I paid to re carpet the entire unit with my money.

    Parked my vehicle in a parking lot owned by Houses Inc. The lot is posted with signs but the link to the QR code was not working. As I was just running in to pickup my lunch I called in, I figured 3 minutes would not be an issue. As I return to my vehicle my car is being booted and the guy tells me only way to get it off is $40. He would not provide me with any additional information about who he worked for or any contact information in order to get assistance. Since I had to return to work I had no other option but to pay it to get my vehicle released. Only after calling Fayetteville PD, and then Fayetteville Parking Enforcement was I able to find a number and who to call to discuss this issue. The person I was able to contact I believe was the property manager, and she asked me to send a picture of the sign which I provided. She then proceeded to tell me the system was up and running so there was nothing they could do about the charge. I feel like this is deliberately setup to deceive and take advantage of people. I would strongly recommend avoiding doing any business with Houses Inc.

    The lot that you parked in is clearly marked as paid parking with signs that have a QR code option to scan, as well as a text to pay code. You called and advised you were booted because the QR code would not scan. I requested a picture of the sign you said the QR code was not working on, which you sent via text. I was able to scan the QR code off the picture you sent, and it worked properly. We also scanned the QR code on the physical sign which worked as well. I asked if you also tried the text to pay option, in which you replied that you did not try it because you were in a hurry on your lunch break. With the fact the QR code did work, and you did not try to text to pay, we are not able to issue a refund. If the QR code did not work, or the text to pay option did not work, we would have gladly refunded you for being booted, but that was not the case. That parking lot is strictly monitored and has multiple signs stating it is a pay to park area.
