Wingard took spring pictures for Magnet Cove Elementary back in April. On May 11, I had my husband ask the principal when are the pictures going to be delivered? She said that they hadn’t received them yet, that they were late. She said that she would contact Wingard to find out what was going on. We never heard back from her. I called Wingard on May 23rd to find out what the heck was going on. They told me that according to their lab, they had already been sent out and for me to contact the school. I messaged ******’s teacher immediately after I got off the phone with Wingard. She asked the secretary at the school. She told me that the secretary had called Wingard and was told that they should come in the week of the 23rd. The school eventually got them and the pictures were mailed out from them on the May 31st. We received them June 6th, two full weeks after I had called Wingard asking about them. They were bent in half by the post office because no one bothered to write “pictures don’t bend” on the envelope and every picture has a sideways slash or eyelash (possibly one was on the camera lens) looking imperfection under his shoe. I’m attaching pictures of what I’m talking about. It’s also the wrong style. I ordered style 6 sitting position, but what I got was style 12’s. I’m sad that his pictures arrived so late, they are the wrong style, they have imperfections on them, and that they are bent in half. I emailed the company listing in the email all of the issues I have just went over and included my order information. I asked for the pictures to be recent out at no charge. I waited for a response and issued them out a second email asking for a response of what they would do to make this right. They blamed the school and quit talking to me. Wingard Photography and Magnet Cove School District collectively scheduled Spring Photos to be shot on April 20th. Our schools know that is takes at least three weeks from the day of picture day for our lab to get their students packages printed and ready to ship. That is the very earliest convenience assuming there were absolutely no problems along the way. Three weeks from April 20th would have been May 11th; I have attached the Delivery Date from UPS. These were shipped to the school and from there the school shipped the picture packages to each household that ordered. The fact that the pictures were bent and that they were delivered on June 6th (to the parents) is in no way Wingard's fault, that is the school.
I have also attached images of what our website says Style 06 and Style 12 is, and a photo of what ****** received. She did in fact receive the style 06 that was ordered. I have also attached a snippet of the online order that was placed by Mrs. ******** on April 19th.
Following up on the accusation that Wingard, "Quit talking," to Mrs. ********, I have provided an attachment that there was a response issued to ****** on the same day the initial email was sent. The initial email and Wingard's response were sent on June 7th; eight days later ****** responded in the same thread that is was her, "second attempt," at getting ahold of Wingard regarding late/bent pictures. She must have mistakenly overlooked the response that was sent. ****** sent an email at 8:59 PM on Wednesday, June 15th. Our staff was in and out of the office on Thursday until noon and we do not work on Fridays as part of our Summer hours.
Upon getting back in office on Monday June 20th a response was issued telling Mrs. ******** that the, "Blemish," below his shoe was a scuff on the mat from a shoe when pictures were taking and asking if she would like these reordered. She then responded that she would like a, "refund or a no charge replacement because they’re bent and there is an eyelash shaped blemish in the same spot on every single picture." Once Wingard staff received the message an email was sent to our lab to have the scuff photoshopped off the picture.
Wingard does their best to keep and do right by all customers even when that includes replacing something on their behalf that was not initially their fault.
