made reservation for rv on march 23 of 2022 through 27th paid one day $40.26 do to a fall cant get camper ready so wanted to cancel reservation call on March 7th to cancel they said they would not refund amount if they rent spot out they will have made 2 amount on one spot we gave a 16 day notice. want money back. they should not be able to do that. thank youBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/16) */ Our policy is that a one night non-refundable payment is due upon making a reservation no matter the length of stay. If the customer cancels the reservation for any reason, the one night is not refunded. This was explained to the guest over the phone when making the reservation. This policy is also stated on our website. This practice is in alignment with a majority of RV parks. Some parks are more restrictive and require full payment for the entire stay upfront and if cancelled, the entire amount is non-refundable. We are unable to accommodate this refund request as it would be a discriminatory practice to refund this customer and not other customers. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/03/22) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They are lying. They told me with proper notice they would refund my money. They also told me that they only had 3 spots available which means they almost assuredly re-rented the space which would make it unlawful to make double money for it. There is a music event close by and they always fill up for it. I gave them 16 days notice and will file a complaint with the state of Arkansas. Also, will post some negative reviews so people can see how they operate.
