On October 30, 2021 I went to Retro Video Games, a store in Hot Springs, Arkansas, while I was on vacation in town. At the store I purchased two games, Phantasy Star 1 and 2 on the gamecube ($175) and Kirby on the wii ($35). When purchasing I paid part cash ($60) and part card ($166.08). When checking out the owner told me he was out of receipt paper and that he not be able to provide me one. I was okay with that at the time as I assumed both games were in working order. When I returned home later that afternoon I tested both games and Phantasy Star 1&2 did not work. I then called the owner of Retro Video Games and i told him of the game I purchased and that it did not work and that i would like to ship it back as i lived three hours away. I told him i would pay for shipping if i could be refunded. The owner then told me that he does not accept return and items are sold as is. It was not disclosed to me at my time of purchase of his business damaged item policy was and I was not aware of the game being damaged. If possible I would like to return the game and receive a full refund.
