Boynton Beach, FL location I pay for 9 memberships and wash my car daily. I went to wash car and my scanner didn't work, which is very normal at this place. An employee was standing out there, and I held my scanner outside my window, and he grabbed it from my hand. He said if I wouldn't let him stick it on my windshield, he would confiscate it. I refused as they've had to replace this scanner multiple times, and it just mucks up my window. He said I needed to talk to the manager. I went to speak with the manager, and he was aggressive and dropped an F bomb in his first words to me. He then stated I was not there every F-ing day because he's never seen me before, which makes no sense at all. He then kept asking, "What am I gonna do about it? You're not that big, what are you gonna do about it. If you don't want to follow policy, get the F outta here." He was basically looking to fight with a customer in front of a parking lot full of customers. I have never seen this guy before and have been a member for years. Well, today, they lose my business, my family's business, and my work folks business.Review from Sean B

Zips car wash in Forest, Virginia damaged my vehicle. They refused to take responsibility for the damage. I was told that I would receive a call from the manager sometime over the weekend with an update. He never called. I canceled my membership, and they refused to give me a refund. They won't cover damages, and they won't give me my money back for a service I can't use because it will cause water to build up inside my trunk. They are horrible to deal with, and should not be allowed to operate a business!! DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP THERE!!Review from Jacqueline M

I had just signed up for monthly wash plan, started to go thru and the brush on drivers side ripped off my drivers side mirror. I reported to staff they submitted report to executive company. I heard back from co. Advising I should refer to there signage they are not responsible for the mirror. I had to order replacement from Chevy dealer and install I am out $500 now and all they said was I should submit to my own insurance Co. Since it wasn't my fault I am not submitting to my insurance especially since I have a $500 deductible. Very poor customer service. But the more ridiculous moment was when I called to cancel membership and told them why I was canceling the guy on the phone asked if I would stay if he gave a discount !!! After being charged for membership fees that I didn't sign up for, I repeatedly sent emails to Zips Carwash LLC to stop all memberships and/or fees associated with my name and account. Since 01/2024 my account is still being charged $45 monthly. Three different agents have replied that the account is closed.Review from Robert J

Company charges people for a premium car wash, which is $45 a month and every time you pull through the car wash you get the same lowest car wash as everyone else they’re scamming people out of their money and I think that somebody should do something about thisReview from Brenda M

Last month we were in Myrtle Beach, SC, and stopped for a car wash at Zips. We were in line with others and the attendant walked up to our window and said they were having a $8 car wash promotion. We took it as it was a good deal (for our car wash) and he handed us a card and stuck a bar code on our windshield . He talked so fast and pushed us through to get to the next customer. We just received our VISA and had a charge for $50 on it! We called and told them we didNOT want it. There are NO Zips car washes in our area in VA. They said well let us look…”oh no there are none.” They cancelled our supposed agreement for the future but REFUSED TO REFUND the $50 they had already charged us. They said “ we don’t do that”! I’ve heard from on other person that this had happened to them. Anyone else?? This is not fair. They took our money for no service and will not refund it.Review from Paul A

It’s clear that this company is running an unmitigated scam. I signed up for the monthly. ($10) and it jumped to 30 bucks. When I went in to Get a car was I charged for the monthly and regular fee for the wash… each… time… I haven’t been back in 6 months and was still getting charged even after I’ve asked them to stop. I’m disputing charges and changing my CC number. At this point I don’t want a refund, I want an investigation into their business. I hope the company doesn’t exist in a year and the C-level staff are charged seeing as they are horrible people.Review from walter w

I paid for a $10 car wash on 12/7/2023. I just discovered ZIPS has been charging my credit card $45 a month ever since. I tried calling them first but was not able to reach anyone. The charges have been reported to my bank and the card canceled.Review from Margie H

Every time I go there my sticker doesn’t scan and they say they are going to fix it but it repeatedly happens. The quality has gone downhill at the Hickory location. They don’t even spray the car before entering. The quality needs to be looked at by corporate. Now they say I have one car for monthly wash but they charge for 2. They need someone to respond to their customers but they never answer the phone at corporate or help at the local storeReview from Lyn N

I would like to start by saying I really liked the Zips location I was going to until they hired a new manager, at the 4035 Challenger Ave NE, Roanoke, VA 24012. About 2 months ago, my husband and this manager, a small bearded man had words and he was banned from the location. My husband apologized and bought a membership. We live 20 minutes from this location and were not able to get our moneys worth and canceled. I went back today to get my car washed and this man asked if I was a member? I said no, he said do you want to hear about the membership? I said no, and before I could explain why, he states " don't come back here if you can't be respectful, there is no way you know about membership" he ranted and accused me again of being disrespectful and when I responded, " I thought I was" he said "far from it" and as he was walking away again told me not to come back. I can assure you that I will not, but it is sad because I will not be sure that everyone I run into knows of my experience. Sad, sad man......
