I purchased a $6,500 unit from Meux back in July of 2021. The crew showed on time and installed my unit the same day. My only complaint was the mess they left behind as well as some strange noises coming from my return air. I called Ronnie, the guy that sold me the unit and he came out and told me that I needed a 2nd return air system and he didn't think about it at the time when he gave me my estimate. He said without it, my unit would work harder and could cause problems later. He said that because of his error, he would supply the materials if I would pay for the labor to cut the hole and install. I agreed reluctantly because I didn't feel it was my fault, but I just wanted everything to be right. I had held off paying the invoice, but Ronnie assured me that if I went ahead and paid, he personally would make good on my work. I trusted him and gave him a check for the entire amount. Ronnie never sent anyone out and when I would call or text him, he would respond promising to get to me promptly. He also promised to extend my warranty by an additional year after the repair in case something went wrong. Since my unit was cooling and heating ok, I didn't make a big deal about it, but the noise was annoying and again I trusted Ronnie at his word. Well, after numerous texts and 2 1/2 years later, I have yet to get Ronnie (Meux Services) to complete this job. I finally had a roof put on last summer and had an additional turbine added, at my expense, that seemed to eliminate the noise. I also want to add that I have called the office at Meux to complain a couple of times and they would always have Ronnie call me to again lie to me about getting out to complete the work. I have even asked that Mr. Meux himself call me and again, it would be Ronnie. I am not at all happy with the customer service. I believe that if I had been of a different ethnicity or zipcode and a man, my work would have been completed. Gwen *******-****

Whether it's heat, AC, or plumbing, Meux does it all--and does it well. We have had them install AC, and heat, and a hot water heater, and all have functioned as well as anyone could desire. Three thumbs (and five stars) up!
