      They have done this twice to me, telling me I didn't do something right in order to make changes to my policy. I have a new kid, a life experience for changing my policy. I call and ask what i need to do? What forms and most important, can I do this? ALWAYS they give me the wrong answers, you fill out more paperwork then applying for citizenship (wife is from Spain) and when 90 days pass, the time you can make changes, everything they told you was a lie. WHAT a waist of time, Its like they don't want to insure you. It feels like a total scam. You guys are the worst experience of my life and I will never again. I will never use your company again.

      Worst insurance I ever had. Have to approve for treatment when I'm paying another to have this garbage insurance. Deductible are very high. Now now script is pending on the doctor to contact blue cross. Seriously there not doctors. I'll be looking for insurance elsewhere.

      My husband switched employers, where we needed a short term medical insurance policy until we could join the open enrollment the following January (10 months away). When applying for a 12month Limited Duration Policy, after 2 weeks, they now claimed they made a typo in my last name, even though husband's and son's last name were the same and spelled correctly; and we were previously insured with them where they did verify the previous policy number. When applying by phone, they continued to tell me I was being recorded, so they in fact did have the correct spelling of my last name. They had never mentioned that a typo was made when I spoke to them the previous week. They stated I could either wait until they could get a hold of the agent to correct the spelling or I could just reapply. I did not want to reapply as it took us 2 hours to complete the application by phone last time since their online service was not user friendly; constantly glitching. I was then transferred to a new agent, who finally told me I had to start the process all over again because the previous agent no longer worked there, admitting they had lied to me. I asked for an addendum to be signed by me to correct the spelling so we did not have to start the process all over again, losing 2 weeks of coverage. They adamantly refused. Then they made an additional new requirement in order to process our request for insurance policy coverage. They now requested my husband to see a physician to have his blood drawn and give a urinalysis since he had never been to see a doctor since 1980. Being previously insured by them, they had records showing he has never been sick; showing also the profits they made off our premiums compared to what we used. This requirement should be illegal and wasting 3 weeks of our time. Another well-known insurance company gave us the policy within 24 hrs, BCBS lost the $10,000 in premiums they would have received. We will never use them again. They deserve a negative rating.
