On January 12 of this year I contacted Generated Energy Solutions LLC to repair my Generac unit. The young man who came out was both professional and courteous. The invoice from GES came on January 25 and I sent my check number **** on the same day. Around March 15 I received a letter from Generac about extended warranties. Upon closer examination of the letter I learned my unit was still under warranty. I spoke to four employees at Generac and also called ******** at GES. Each employee stated it indeed should have been covered. My first call to GES caught ******** in her car, upon telling her who I was, she immediately told me my part was not covered. Guessing she has a photographic memory to know this, while driving. Generac paid GES back for the service call around April 15. Numerous calls have been made to GES without getting an acceptable response, and as of today, no refund has been received.Initial Complaint

We purchased a Generac whole home generator in which Generated Energy Service installed on behalf of Lowes. On June 19, 2023 the generator quit operating. GES finally came out on August 1, 2023 and the service tech filled out warranty paperwork to replace the motor. It had been less than 1 year which was still fully covered under the warranty. The service tech advised there wouldn’t be a problem and the part was fully covered and it should take about a month for the part to come in at which time they would call to schedule the repair. We have called GES multiple times inquiring about our warranty work. We are given the same excuse/lie each time that they will reach out to the tech to have him find out where the part is. GES is required to provide us with warranty repairs on the generator they were paid to install. It has been almost two months and they will not honor their end of the contract.
