The plumber and his sons were recommended to us by a friend, so we were happy to use Him. We hired him to install all plumbing/gas fixtures for us on our new construction. Things seemed to be going well until... The first issue we had was the kitchen gas line. It didn’t seem a big deal; it was set too far out for our cabinet drawers, easy fix. Next, he put the toilet in the first bathroom wrong area, but we let that go. Things got really tense when he didn’t show, several times. He knew we had a deadline that we had already postponed 3 times. Of course, the bathrooms couldn't be finished until he completed his part. He had promised several times that he would come and finish, but he only came after I posted a review on his Facebook business acct. When he showed up at the house, he was very mad. In front of the different crews working there, he loudly reprimanded me and told me that I was hard to deal with. He blamed my husband and I for the things that were done wrong. While he was there, I confronted him with an issue we had just discovered. He had left a large hole in the guest bathroom floor. Apparently, he set the hole for the sink in the wrong place, about a foot from where it should’ve gone.. He told me that it was ok because it just went into the basement. I told him I didn’t want a hole going from my bathroom to the basement. He then preceded to tell me that my husband knew about the hole, but of course he didn’t. In the end, we fixed that ourselves. He then left saying he was done. We got a new contractor to finish out the plumbing which cost us more money because he had to go back and redo all the plumbing for the bathrooms. That meant cutting into all the walls the plumbing was attached too. Four walls in all. The fittings were set too far back for the fixtures. Our hot water wasnt working the way it should. The new plumber said that the gas line wiring was too small… more cost. So, he had to rewire the gas line that went to the hot water heater.
