This apartment has not been helpful in fixing the air units in my house. I have been in 100 degree weather and they do nothing but send people who have no way to help me or do anything that’s actually fixing the problem. The first time I noticed a problem I was told that it did not matter because it is “cold outside”. Now that it is midsummer I still have a terrible ac unit. The heat index is 106 and this is a safety issue.Business response

*** **** has had her a/c worked on previously and her a/c just went out again on 6/21/2024 we gave her a window unit on 6/22/2024 . We have called a a/c company to come out and take a look at her unit and they told us they will add us to the list. They have not given us a date of arrival yet.Customer response

I contacted the emergency maintenance line after hours on 2/18/2023 at night about my tub and toilet being backed up. When I flush the toilet or use my washer all the water would overflow and spill on the floor of my bathroom. I was told someone would be out on 2/19/2023 to fix the issue. No one came out on 2/19/2023 and no one answered the phone again until 2/21/2023. I left voicemails and made a maintenance request and nobody has contacted me. I finally got ahold to someone on 2/21/2023 and they told me someone would be out but no one is answering the phone. I just moved in November 2022 from another unit from my apartment being flooded from a pipe burst, which I complained and they waited until it flooded my apartment to move me out.Initial Complaint

Currently living at ****** **** apartments and our apartment has become a health hazard due to having zero air conditioning. We put in our first maintenance request to fix our AC with the current owners on June 6th, 2022. As of July 22nd, 2022, we still have no air conditioning. We were told that it would be at least 2-3 weeks until it could be fixed on July 13th. The average temperature in our apartment is between 88-92 degrees in our living room, and the temperature in the back half of the house is definitely above 100 degrees so we’ve had to block off the majority of our apartment. There are at least 16 other people experiencing this same issue in other apartments. With the daily temperatures reaching 100, and the “feels like” temperature rising to 110, my pets and my family are suffering with no place to go.
