      My name is ****** ******* and I lived Am at "The ridge at north Little Rock" and the month of June 1st, 2021 me and my roommate turned in our rent in money order form as usual to the deposit slip at the front off. 5 days later June 5th,2021 we received a notice that our rent was late. We checked our account and it showed we had a balance of $750 that's including late fees. We went to the office to see why and they said that it was a lot of money orders stole out the deposit slip bin at the office. We weren't even informed that our money order was stolen they just kept requesting rent and kept adding late fees. So they told us to get a copy of our money order and give to them and it would try to be resolved turn it in and we did as such. Our move out date was July 24th 2021. Once we move out a month later I received a bill saying we owe the apartment $550 and that's because of the missing money order for the month of June. They took the $200 deposit fee that they owe me after moving out and put it towards the balance and sent the balance to collections. I've been calling for almost 2 months trying to get this situation resolved so that I can move into an apartment this month but they continue to say that someone is going to call me and no one has contacted me yet. This is going to prevent me from getting an apartment and it's going to affect my credit. I need for the balance to be removed from collections and the $200 deposit that's owed after the rental term funded to me.

      I was recently put into lease and mislead. I was refused a walk through when initially signing lease and ensured the property was clean and move in ready. I paid rent and deposit and received keys to prepare for my move in. This was on July 3rd. However when beginning my move in I discovered the unit was not move in ready and I was unable to reach anyone due to the next day being a holiday (July 4th). On Friday, July 5th I immediately called the office to let them know what I walked into upon move in and returned the keys. I was told they wasn’t satisfied either and was calling the cleaning crew again. I’m not sure why I was given keys and lease if they knew the unit was not ready for move in and very unsanitary. I was scheduled to leave town July 8-12 which I communicated with them before I signed lease and wanted to move in on the original date that they offered July 3rd. Upon returning back to the state I have had to pay for me and my children to stay elsewhere and rearrange things and lost $770 from a unit inhabitant. The only thing I’m being offered is a new apartment which I cannot take due to I have already paid somewhere else and I was offered to pay even more money to term lease early. This seems quite a bit unfair and I would like to speak to someone and get this resolved immediately or what else I will need to do. I also have pictures and be advised the refrigerator had a horrible smell like something died inside of it and two roaches were discovered as well. The kitchen sink had a link and taped up. Very unacceptable.
