We hired him to build a deck. He required $1000 down payment and that we paid for the materials at Lowe’s. He was there about three days for about two hours a day he tore the steps off of our deck which is significant because it’s a second story deck, and we now have no way to get to our backyard other than to walk around the house, he left everything lay on the ground then came up with multiple excuses. Why he didn’t show up he left garbage in the yard and let materials sit out in the rain such as bags of concrete which ruin them he did not file the permit and stole materials from us That we had purchased at Lowe’s. We filed a report with the police for stealing from us.

Tyler D*** worked at my house for firepit. He started off saying this project would be done in 2 weeks. Well 6 weeks later and still not done. He never finished the project, tiles were missing, uneven, chipped, misaligned and when we finally got rain erosion was bad causing the sand underneath to wash out and when stopping on the tiles they would actually raise and lower because there was nothing left underneath them. The block work was unfinished and the electrical work was not even close to code. After all the money spent I've had to bring in other contractors for quotes on how to fix and finish. All have said and quoted very close to the same amount. They all stated there was no reason at all to build up the fire pit that much and bury the actual fire ring as it will not function well in the ground as obviously fire needs air, electrical is not close to code and has to be dug up removed and conduit installed with proper electrical outlet and line installed, walkway to fire pit is graded completely wrong and is unsafe to walk so will need to be completely redone and all tile around fire pit has to be pulled up and dug down and redone as well. Also since removing the blocks around my existing concrete patio Tyler never even tried to replace and fix so that also has to be done now. After reaching out to Tyler to try to come to an agreement to make things somewhat right he denied everything even though we have pictures and would not give any refund for the horrible and un qualified work he did and didn't even finish the job. I also found trash every where and the concrete blocks he cut were thrown over the back of my fence into my woods that I had to clean up. After 6 weeks we had to place all his tools in the front as he just left and never returned for a week after being asked to come finish. Please do not let him do any work at your house it is a lot of money for very poor work and poor business practices.

Very unprofessional. Started on our house beginning of July finished most of the fence by mid August. Him and his friends would leave cement bags and food in our backyard, He also left a gap in the back and a gap in the front. For the front he just put a board over it, we had asked nicely for him to finish the job and he gave excuses as to why he hadn't yet. We asked again and no response. When we contacted him he responded very agitatedly, which he then explained that's it's because of the weather. It's frustrating when you pay someone for a service and they don't complete it. He is able to start on another house but not complete ours because of the "weather"
