I bought a 2021 Ram on 07/08/23. After signing the paperwork for a vehicle payment of 750. I was presented with a payment of 890 and I was notified that the bank wanted my paystubs. When I told them I couldn't get them for a few days they lowered the price of the warranty and gap to get the loan approved by the bank. I told them at that point that I'd rather not deal with the lies and to forget the whole thing. I was told at that time, it was too late to discontinue since I have already signed papers. A few days after the purchase of the truck, the break pedal begins making grinding noise and the wheels are out of alignment. I reach out to the dealership and they say they will take care of it. They sold me a car with issues and passed it off as a perfect vehicle. Then I didn't hear from them again. Today I went in to see if there was a solution to a life changing situation affecting me making the high payment. I also addressed the concern I expressed on the day of the transaction and the lies I was told by the dealership, such as the taxes will be 3-400 dollars. And they said it was the bank requesting paystubs when it was not. I contacted Toyota financial and all the concerns and issues arose directly from Steve landers Toyota. After speaking with them and then telling me they would do something to help me it has been made evident they have no intention to help resolve any of my complaints. They said they could trade me out of the truck but the bank wants $9,000 down. This dealership backed me into a financial corner I can't get out of. Lied and pressured me into buying a truck with altered/fake numbers/costs/incentives on the contract to make it look better.Business response

We started dealing w Mr ***** back in Feb and have been trying to get him out of a two wheel drive small truck to a 4 wheel drive large truck. He traded his vehicle 7/8 and had several thousand negative equity. He came in this morning and said he is in a financial crisis now and wanted to trade. He can trade but needs cash down to offset that which he apparently does not want to do. If the vehicle needs any repaired we will gladly take care of.

I am rejecting this response because: They didn't address their lies that led us to this point such as telling me it was too late to walk away from the deal when now I have found out it wasn't too late. This business is crooked and is now trying to make me seem like the bad guy. They refuse to actually fix anything they've done because they made a sale. They don't care how badly a customer gets screwed.
