    My 2016 ***** Cruze was towed to Carstar collision center the first week of April to repair front end damage from a car accident. My car contained several items to include 2 new pair of boots in the box , a pair of customized Air Force ones, and another pair of shoes in the box. My trunk had a extra bin containing winter clothes, jeans, sweaters, socks, and other personal items. I received a phone call from a ****** a few days later asking me to come pick up the items, I explained to him at that time that I was disabled and could not retrieve the items without help. He said he understood and that ended the phone call. ****** called again the following week with the same request and I explained again at that time I had no help but I was working on it. The following week I got help and went to the location and was met by ******* the receptionist and she explained that she had to go to the back and check on things and she would e right back. She returned and had explained that my things were sitting right next to my car but it was to cluttered for me and my help to get my things and she told me they would put them back in the car when they were finished with the paint job and the car was detailed. I got a call on Monday the second week of May from ******* telling me the car was ready and I told her I wouldnt have the $500 dollar deductible until Friday and I would see her then, and she stated okay. Friday May 13,2022 I went to pick up my car towards closing and paid the deductible and left. When I got home I popped the trunk and my things were missing so was the bin, but the bin of the lid was there. There was also a garbage bag containing 2 of my shoes. It was passed 5pm so I couldnt call until Monday. Monday morning I called ******* and asked her where were my things and she transferred me to ****** who stated what things. I told him I was calling the police and my bank to get my money back and ended the call. The paint was not buffed out either.
