      After the job was complete we were ghosted. We dont have functioning landscape lights, we have sinking pavers and we have a few dead plants that they need to replace.

      We entered into a contract with ************************* and ***********************, owners of West Desert Valley Landscaping on 3/15/23. The contract listed a completion date of 4/15/23. On 5/8/23 the job was nowhere near completion and contractual obligations were not met and quality of work was below average. 1) No grading was performed despite direction given by Premier Paradise, pool contractor and homeowner stating flooding and pooling issues in past.2) No drains were installed despite homeowner request and a pergola that was going to redirect all roof water down a gutter system and a drain is needed to relocate from home.3) Irrigation was run incorrectly. Tubing to existing 12 ft palm trees were run with small 5 gallon plants and the palms could not get enough water and almost died. All frawns had fallen and ground was completely dry. Plants were planted in beds with 2-3 foot weeds and gravel was thrown on top.4) Wrong rock was delivered and partially laid 1/2 inch instead of 3/4 inch Madison ******* Pavers were laid incorrectly and regular traffic in the yard they were breaking and falling out of place. 5000 square foot of pavers were laid that needed replaced and reset so they did not rock back and forth.6) 20x44 concrete pad was laid 3 inches thick without footers which were in the quote. The pad is for a pickleball court and is starting to sink on the end and experts have told me it will crack within a year. 7) Premium charges but purchased cheap Rainbird valves and I specifically asked for Hunter valves to accomodate my large yard and over 150 plants and trees in my yard.West Valley collected $71240 from me to start the project. They are not answering emails and refuse to meet and settle a refund. I have hired a new company and have had to pay them to rerun irrigation, bring in ******************************************************************************************* the plantar areas to allow for maintenance in the future.

      I hired ************************* who said he is part owner of West Valley Desert Landscaping in June 2022. The amount of lies, mistakes, denials, delays, manipulation for their own mistakes and problems has been an incredibly high amount and constant. The extent of the arguments with ****** over just trying to get him to stop lying about damage has been insane. They have proven to do and say anything to try and get out of spending more money to correct the damage their company caused. If we would have listened to them, they would have left us so much $ in damage. It is almost November 2022 and just today found another leaking part of an almost 4k drain system they installed. They are constantly working on a ( a few days a week) a very poorly installed drain, irrigation system, paver install and coping install. Their response will be that " we are resolving all leaks found" or this is a work in progress but the truth is their has been retaliation against us for identifying their mistakes and forcing them to handle them maturely, professionally, and appropriately with only a few hrs of work a week with subcontractors getting frustrated saying, "they are doing them a favor". I have many shocking videos of where I am being manipulated into ignoring thousands of dollars in damage so they would not have to redo or fix. I have pictures, text timelines, invoices that keep taking twists and turns of confusion, eye witnesses, and many licensed professionals that refuse to come on my property to continue working because it does not take long to see they can't trust them. I believe a lot of the customers that leave them good reviews do not know they have leaking irrigation they installed under ***************** ready to ruin it all. At least the mistakes could have been fixed in a more timely manner but my job is barely a priority for them to finish timely which is part of the retaliation we face for not accepting ignoring damage causing time and money.

      In repsone to this complaint, we currently have active workers on-site and although previous issues were found during the project we have always been willing and open to fixing whatever the customers have asked even it might be out of contract. We are definitely not perfect and I dont expect anyone to be. We have ideas to fix all current issues which will be continuing and ongoing. We have no desire to leave this job under we are completely done with all the items we are in contract to do.

      There have not been repairs done out of contract. Most of the leaks and bad work has been denied leading us to have to prove over and over the same things leading to removing pavers to fix things.  Their workers blame us for holding up final payment when ************************* and *********************** barely cared that the workers only came a few hrs. A week while concentrating on other jobs.  This has been going on since the end of June and it is now beginning of November.  Fixing their mistakes has not been a priority with us finding 2 major irrigation leaks under the travertine just recently.  We never said we expect everyone to be perfect.  We could not even get a work schedule we asked for recently to schedule the next step with the pool company and electric which comes next.  There are many extremely scratched pavers from all the pulling travertine back out even polymeric sanded in which are just being replaced today?  There is still someone else's deco 1 inch granite all around the perimeter of our yard that they used as homemade *** and mortar dumps galore. No response regarding our spa cover that has mortar dust stuck on it from their work.

      In response to the complaint we did not use homemade AB. We buy all of our supplies from approved and credible landscape supply stores such as ************************ and ***************** & Landscape. We are aware there is still leftover AB that was spilled into your deco rock which we agreed to reprehend by removing and AB. We also agreed to replace any scratched pavers which was picked up and will be dropped off this afternoon. Hoping to have completion on this project by Monday so you can schedule your other necessary items around that as our tentative date.

      Not professional. Does not provide paperwork they say they will get you. I agreed to working with them based on verbal promises. I was told i would get an abbreviated list of plants... i never got them. I was told i would get warranty paperwork. I am still waiting for that. When i asked for warranty work after the fact like discussed is when these problems really got bad. The irrigation is broken. Im still waiting on repair. They damaged 10 bougainvillea plants with delivery. They have yelled at me and been completely disrespectful. They are using bullying and intimidation to not take responsibility for verbal promises and unprofessional tone and arguing with customers. I am a single woman and they are beginning to make me feel uncomfortable in my own home. Would not feel comfortable with them working with my mother. I need them to get me the list, warranty work and ensure the irrigation is working. I question if the job was done correctly. They should be investigated by the BBB as i do not feel they are safe or professional to work with. Especially if the person lives alone.

      Customer was provided with all contracts and documentation throughout the entirety of the project from the initial contract, the revision contract, the payment documentation, the turf warranty information, the turf warranty card, as well as the *** approval letter. All documents have been saved and can be provided. Customer was very unprofessional throughout the duration of the project, stating that we came from a privileged family and dont care about money and are taking advantage of her for being single which is completely irrelevant and far from the truth. We treat all customers the same no matter the race, gender, relationship status, age, or beliefs a customer is a customer in our eyes. Customer became very hostile and unprofessional when she didnt get her way, for example when we informed her she was wrong and that the product we installed was done correctly she went absolutely ballistic yelling and screaming in an immature manner. There was a fault in the irrigation module installed from the home builder, when we added our valve on the system could not be programmed. Homeowner was informed that it was a home builder issue, home builder refused to replace it so out of respect for the customer we went out and purchased a brand new irrigation control module to ensure no more faults in the standard system that was originally installed by the home builder. Customer second guessed every decision that was made throughout the entirety of the project, which is understandable but to an extent. I have documentation of all conversations that were sent via text message. At this point homeowner began to try to belittle us as we are a very young managed company and thought that she could take advantage of our age, mistaking it for lack of knowledge and professionalism. Customer made many false accusations to belittle us (all documented) not going to state out of respect to the customer. All accusations homeowner is making could not be any bigger of a lie.

      That response is far from the truth and inaccurate.  Only shows further bullying from this company. The warranty is not being handled correctly still. Turf wasnt installed properly and there has been a line it since install. Ive been told to fix myself when the turf company told me thats not how its supposed to work. I have been nothing but professional and feel that response just shows how hostile he can be. Its in his language and treatment of others.. Even his response to a company like the bbb was aggressive. Whats unfortunate is I was excited when I hired him. Thought it would be a lot of fun. Its become a nightmare. I just need this yard done as promised. Its 8k I regret spending with them. Especially since its not done correctly. The response from this company is inaccurate and I do not accept it.

      Per homeowner request turf warranty was transferred from us to the homeowner, without the warranty for the turf being in our name there is nothing that we can do as the matter is now between the homeowner and the turf company, the line is from a manufacturer defect as there is no seam in the entire turf section leading for no reason for there to be lines in the turf. I have reached out to the turf company to try to assist with this matter however our hands are tied without the warranty in our name. Out of kindness and respect to the customer when the issue was addressed to us we did go to the residence to see if there was anything install wise we could do to help correct the line in the turf which there is not. Homeowner was directed to contact turf manufacturer to see what the warranty process was. Statements in the first response were accurate and if need be messages will be posted in this thread to prove our allegation toward the homeowner. Furthermore all contracts and information that was provided to the customer throughout the duration of the project can be provided as well.

      I do not accept this response. The job was never finished correctly. The warranty isnt being handled correctly. Bullying is continuing here even on bbb. A proper landscaper wouldnt have attacked a customer verbally. And include his boss. And then threaten your both showing up to really tell me. Its aggressive and scary behavior. You all also continue to not make sure the job is done and warranty honored. This isnt professional and extremely uncomfortable. I do not accept this response.
