On 10.20.22 I met with a representative of Homes Direct to purchase a prebuilt home to be placed on my property. I paid a deposit and signed a contract. During the course of 1 year, communication with this business has been far and few between with conflicting information. After a long-waited year, I was advised this business would no longer assist me despite emails stating they would. During this 1 year, I had the opportunity to sell my home for top dollar and utilize my capital gain to pay cash for my prebuilt home. Since this business prolonged my project of the prebuild home and ultimately refused to continue assisting me, I lost out of the sale of my home and hundreds of thousands of dollars. I believe this business had no intention of assisting me with my project and fraudulently misrepresented services to me as a consumer. This business has, in no way, tried to accommodate me as a consumer to make this right. I have made several calls and emails to the *** of the company with no response from him. He delegates other employees to respond with only apologies and no real explanations. I have a purchase agreement/contract and proof of deposit. I have requested my deposit back however I have not received it, nor have I received any communication from this business regarding such.
